 Description

The segment from the 1939 Československý zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czechoslovak Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 2 features a speech given by the Minister of Health and Social Services Vladislav Klumpar highlighting the importance of the charity event Česká koleda (Czech Carol), a part of the Národní pomoc (National Aid) programme. Klumpar calls for all fellow citizens to help. He describes caring for and helping those in need as a virtuous duty of the entire Republic, and voluntary help as a virtuous duty of every citizen.
