The segment from the 1943 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) No. 40B captures the event 'Art for the Youth' organised in the National Theatre by the Curatorium for the Education of Youth in Bohemia and Moravia. The event starts with a premiere of Bedřich Smetana's newly staged opera Prodaná nevěsta (The Bartered Bride). Among the audience is the Minister of Education and National Enlightenment, Emanuel Moravec. The Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth exploited its popularity and organised a political rally at the venue, with speeches by the Uherské Hradiště District Representative of the Board Jan Ryba and General Secretary of the Board František Teuner. Then, the youth of Moravian Slovakia paid homage to Adolf Hitler. The festivities concluded with a presentation of Moravian Slovak dances performed by couples wearing folk costumes.

In February 1944, a ski course was held here for 300 selected instructors, who were to become leaders of newly established model brigades

Guests were welcomed on behalf of the Board by General Secretary František Teuner. A demonstration of jiu-jitsu was performed by Karel Zrůbek and Adolf Andrej Lebeda. Jan Heřmánek demonstrated boxing skills and children had the opportunity to try out the sport under his supervision. Václav Karola and Mrs. Martínková introduced archery to the audience, while Miroslav Vítek demonstrated shot putting. Football players Josef Maleček, Vlastimil Kopecký, Josef Bican, Karel Kulhánek and Emil Seifert played football tennis and demonstrated headers.

Older teenagers worked at railway stations, unloading potatoes.
Segment from Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) issue no. 25B from 1943, shot on 30 May, shows Prime Minister Jaroslav Krejčí, Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec, General Secretary of the Board František Teuner and other guests of honour during their visit to a recreation camp for working youth aged 14-18, which was held in Semice nad Lužnicí near Týn nad Vltavou. Just as in nearby Protivín, young apprentices put on a collective sports performance for them.

Just as in the boys´ camps, the main objective was to improve physical fitness. Sports activities were complemented by periods of relaxation.
Segment from Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) issue no. 28B from 1943 contains footage from the Youth Swimming Championship for Ages 14-18 organised by the Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth and held at a swimming pool in Prague-Barrandov on 3 an 4 July. The participants consisted of 250 junior athletes who qualified in district and provincial races. Trophies were presented to the winners by General Secretary of the Board František Teuner.
Segment from Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) issue no. 30A, B from 1942 captures the first training camp for future instructors of the newly established Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth, which took place at Slapy Chateau from 10 to 17 July. Forty-five young men attended training and sports activities as well as theoretical education in the form of lectures. On the last day, Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Emanuel Moravec visited the camp.
