Segment from Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) issue no. 21A, B from 1944 captures a solemn ceremony organised by the Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth to mark the 60th anniversary of Bedřich Smetana´s death, which took place at the composer´s grave on 11 May. The fanfare from the opera Dalibor was followed by a speech by General Secretary of the Board František Teuner, who also laid a wreath on Smetana´s grave. The choir of Prague teachers under the baton of Metod Doležal sang the chorus called "Dowry". The ceremony was concluded with the Nazi salute.
Segment from Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) issue no. 16A from 1944 was shot at a big on-request concert held in the Great Hall of Lucerna Palace on 4 April as the 3000th performance of the Art for Youth initiative of the Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth. The event was attended by Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec and General Secretary of the Board František Teuner. The diverse programme included the aria "While a Mother´s Love Means Blessing" from Bedřich Smetana´s The Bartered Bride performed by Marie Budíková and Oldřich Kovář as well as performances by young accordion players and a children´s choir.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec and SS officer Ferdinand Fischer. General Secretary of the Board František Teuner spoke to the participants.

In February 1944, a ski course was held here for 300 selected instructors, who were to become leaders of newly established model brigades
Segment from Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) issue no. 39A from 1944 was shot during a training course for the regional leaders of the Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth, which was held at the Čeperka Guest House near Unhošť in connection with changes in the conditions of mandatory youth service resulting from the declaration of forced labour (Totaleinsatz) in August 1944. In addition to lectures, the programme included sports activities to improve the physical fitness of the participants.

Specifically, it consisted of recreational winter sports activities (skiing, sleighing) with the aim of improving physical fitness and strengthening collective spirit.

The team LTC Prague beat the team SSC Říčany 4:0 to win the youth ice hockey final. General Secretary of the Board František Teuner presented diplomas to the winners of Ice Sports Week.

The programme included a performance of single figure skating.
Segment from Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) issue no. 20A from 1944 was shot during the Youth Spring Day event organised by the Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth and held across the Protectorate on 7 May 1944. The purpose of the event was to renew folk customs and traditions. In Prague´s Stromovka, girls in folk costumes danced a quadrille dance called "Česká beseda" under a maypole. Boys celebrated the day with races.

The swimmer Kopřiva set a new record in the 100 m backstroke. The winners qualified for the Youth Swimming Championship held in Prague as part of the Board´s Week of Czech Youth.
