Výzkumná zpráva podrobně shrnuje výsledky české části mezinárodního projektu ESPAD realizovaného v r. 2007. Hlavním cílem této zprávy bylo podat přehled o situaci v České republice, pokud jde o rozsah kouření, pití alkoholu a užívání nelegálních drog v populaci dospívající mládeže a porovnat ji se situací v ostatních evropských zemích. We report the case of a 52year old man with severe acute pancreatitis. In this case report we discuss the undesirable effects of parenteral nutrition and the importance of nutritional support at patients with severe necrotizing pancreatitis. Severe acute pancreatitis is usually accompanied by systemic inflammatory response syndrome, which results in hypermetabolism with prominent protein catabolism. Providing nutrition to these patients is of paramount importance. An adequate nutritional support is crucial in patients with severe and complicated pancreatitis. Cíl. Posoudit vztahy alexithymie, psychické a somatoformní disociace u lidí závislých na alkoholu. Zjistit, zda se alexithymie, psychická a somatoformní disociace vzájemně překrývají, či zda se jedná o samostatné konstrukty. Soubor a metody. Jako výzkumné metody autoři použili TAS-20 (Toronto Alexithymia Scale), DES (Dissociation Experiences Scale), SDQ20 (Somatoform Dissociation Questionnaire). Výzkum realizovali na souboru 95 lidí závislých na alkoholu. Výzkumné otázky. Existují statisticky prokazatelné vztahy mezi konstrukty alexithymie, psychické a somatoformní disociace, nebo jsou tyto konstrukty relativně samostatné? Statistická analýza. Popisné charakteristiky souboru, Spearmanův koeficient korelace, explorační faktorová analýza. Výsledky. Alexithymie byla zjištěna u lidí závislých na alkoholu v 43 %, psychická disociace v 39 % a somatoformní disociace v 45 %. Tyto proměnné měly u lidí závislých na alkoholu statisticky prokazatelné vztahy. Explorační faktorová analýza zjistila u lidí závislých na alkoholu samostatný faktor externí orientace myšlení a omezení fantazijního života., Objective. To assess relationships among alexithymia, psychological and somatoform dissociation in people addicted to alcohol. To find out whether alexithymia, psychological dissociation, and somatoform dissociation overlap or they are the separate constructs. Subject and setting. The authors used these research methods: TAS-20 (Toronto Alexithymia Scale), DES (Dissociation Experiences Scale), and SDQ-20 (Somatoform Dissociation Questionnaire). The research sample consisted of 95 people addicted to alcohol. Hypotheses. Are there any statistically verifiable relationships between the constructs of alexithymia, psychological dissociation and somatoform dissociation, or are these constructs relatively separate ones? Statistical analysis. Descriptive characteristics of the research sample, Spearman's correlation coefficient, exploratory factor analysis. Results. In people addicted to alcohol, alexithymia was found in 43%, psychological dissociation in 38%, and somatoform dissociation in 45%. These variables were statistically significantly related in people addicted to alcohol. Akutní subdurální hematom (ASDH) je nejčastější typ traumatického nitrolebního krvácení s vysokou morbiditou a mortalitou. Ve většině případů je nezbytné akutní operační řešení, vzácně je možné menší asymptomatické ASDH sledovat, jejich resorpce je většinou dlouhodobá, často s vytvořením chronického subdurálního hematomu (CSDH). Bylo popsáno pouze několik případů promptní resorpce ASDH, ale někteří autoři tvrdí, že je jejich incidence podhodnocena. Prezentujeme případ traumaticky vzniklého ASDH u mladé alkoholičky, u níž došlo k téměř kompletní resorpci hematomu za cca 20 hod., Acute subdural hematoma (ASDH) is the most common type of traumatic intracranial hemorrhage associated with high morbidity and mortality. The majority of cases require acute surgery. Monitoring may rarely be sufficient in smaller asymptomatic ASDH. Their resorption is usually prolonged and often associated with formation of chronic subdural hematoma (CSDH). Prompt resorption of hematomas have been described in a few cases only but some authors argue that their incidence is underestimated. We present a case of traumatic ASDH in a young alcoholic patient, in whom a follow-up CT of the brain performed about 20 hours later revealed almost complete resorption of the hematoma.
