V destrukci převažují komorové a nádobkové kachle běžné tvarové škály. Odpověď na klíčovou otázku, zda se do podoby předmětných kamen promítlo společenské postavení vrchnostenského rodu, však není možné jednoznačně zformulovat, vyznívá spíše záporně. and The study is conceived as a complex evaluation of a very large volume of debris from a Gothic stove found in 1997 during an archaeological excavation of the château in Pardubice. The stove was destroyed likely in a fire at the turn of the 16th century. The debris is composed mostly of panel and vessel tiles in the standard formal range. Stove construction elements are also represented in large numbers, especially panels of several formal and size formats. The assemblage of ceramic panels is unique from a pair of perspectives (temporarily), even on an international scale. It is also unparalleled with respect to the overall quantity and formal variety. However, evidence for a more detailed functional interpretation of the panels is missing for now. The evaluation of the find is concluded with a discussion on the social context. However, an answer to the key question as to whether the social standing of the noble family was projected into the appearance of the stove cannot be positively formulated, though it seems rather unlikely.
Třebaže jsou současné stěny mírně půdorysně posunuty oproti středověkým vývojovým fázím, orientace hlavní dispoziční osy se nezměnila. and Extraordinarily valuable house no. 22 in the village of Zbečno (Rakovník district) underwent complex construction development in the Early Modern period. The oldest preserved structures date from the 16th century, and significant reconstruction work took place in the 18th century. However, the origin of the house is substantially older. The article presents the comprehensive results of an archaeological excavation performed in a pair of living rooms and in the courtyard of the homestead. In the stratified layers beneath today’s floors, it was possible to distinguish the remains of three consecutive medieval houses, the internal layout of which corresponded to the floor plan of today’s house. Two of these houses were destroyed by fire. Pottery dates the construction of the earliest house to the period between the second half of the 13th century and the first half of the 14th century. Although the current walls are slightly shifted in plan from the medieval development stages, the orientation of the main dispositional axes has not changed.
Kusé údaje v písemných pramenech naznačují, že dvůr ve 14. stol. přináležel k majetkům kláštera klarisek v nedalekém Panenském Týnci. and The current notion of the construction appearance of large farmyards in the Middle Ages is based primarily on the results of surface surveys (geodetic-topographic) of these sites, which were abandoned at the latest in the 16th century and subsequently covered by forests. Also the Rychvald farmyard in the central part of the Džbán Downs was transformed into an archaeological monument this way. The distinct ruins of the stone walls can still be used to determine the expanse of the right-angled enclosure surrounding the centre, the basic layout of the development and even the ground plans of certain buildings. Brief information in written sources indicates that in the 14th century the farmyard belonged to the Poor Clare monastery in nearby Panenský Týnec.
