The article deals with the notion of exile and its significance in the Armenian historical and literary discourse. The exile represents in the Armenian context one of the cornerstones of Armenian ethnicity construction and it could be said without exaggeration, that Armenian history (both medieval and modern) is pervaded by this dominant or more precisely "key" theme. The exile symbolizes primarily the concept of uprootedness (exile from the country as well as the alienation from the society), which is conceived in close connection with the search for identity itself. In other words, the exile can be considered as a kind of "rite de passage" - the position on the border or "threshold" between two cultures, languages and worlds.
The paper deals with fringe pattern analysis obtained by electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) used to measure deformation profile of a thin steel plate. To calculate deformation phase we introduced spatial-carrier fringes that allow the magnitude of the phase to be determined. The Fourier transform method was employed for phase extraction. Once the phase distribution is obtained, it can be converted to the desired parameters, in our case, out-of plane displacement. and Příspěvek popisuje kvantitativní analýzu pole interferenčních proužků získané aplikací elektronické korelační interferometrie pro měření deformačního profilu tenké ocelové desky.
This study examines osteological remains from an urban Medieval settlement in Brno. Plots at Dominikánská and Kobližná streets and the organization of meat supplies in Brno city in the High Middle Ages were investigated. Evidence for 21 animal species was found with the dominant source of meat coming from cattle and the proportion of poultry increasing in the 15th century. The age structure of slaughter animals and anatomical composition corresponds to normal conditions in Czech, German and Polish territories. Development of the butchery trade could be linked with municipal cities. Butchers‘ guild in Brno took its statute in the 14th century and animals were slaughtered in dedicated slaughterhouses. Occasional fishing also took place. The meat was sold in established meat shops as well as specialised marketplaces., Miriam Nývltová Fišáková, Rudolf Procházka, Zdeňka Sůvová., and Obsahuje seznam literatury
Předložená práce uvádí výsledky archeozoologického hodnocení zvířecích kostí z lokality Těšetice-Kyjovice. Zkoumány byly nálezy z objektů náležejících kultuře s lineární keramikou a moravskou malovanou keramikou. Mezi hlavní cíle osteologické analýzy patří zjištění druhového zastoupení zvířat, poměru počtu kostí domácích a volně žijících druhů, bližší charakteristika domácích zvířat a distribuce jejich kostí na sídlišti. and Evaluation of the animal bones from the Neolithic settlement at Těšetice-Kyjovice (Znojmo district, Czech Republic). This paper presents the results of the archaeozoological analysis of the animal bones from the settlement at Těšetice-Kyjovice (Moravia). Finds from the Linear Pottery and Moravian Painted Ware cultures were assessed. Among the aims of the osteological analyses were to study the proportional representation of animal species, the ratio of domesticated to free ranging species in bone numbers, more detailed characteristics of the domesticated animals, and the distribution of the bones of the latter across the settlement.
