This text covers the final months of the Independent State of Croatia, this state's fall, and the subsequent victory of communism in the Yugoslavian region. It aims to show what the eve of the triumph of communism looked like, as well as the imaginary obstacles standing in its way. Foremost among these obstacles were negotiations by the anticommunists in several Yugoslavian countries about a united front against Tito and his ideology. These last attempts to reverse the establishment of a new order, which was supported by conferences of the Great Powers and the sheer power of Tito's forces, managed for a short time to bring an imaginary unity to such enemies as the Croatian Ustashas and the Serbian Chetniks. However all efforts to reverse the irreversible were futile, and Tito, who had international support, could eliminate his enemies, both real and merely imagined, and establish a new path for Yugoslavia: the path of communism. and Tento text pojednává o posledních měsících existence Nezávislého státu Chorvatsko, jeho pádu a následném nástupu komunismu v jugoslávském prostoru. Cílem textu je poukázat na to, jak vypadal předvečer triumfu komunismu, a také na pomyslné překážky, jež se jej pokoušely zvrátit. Jednalo se zejména o vyjednávání antikomunistů několika jugoslávských zemí o společném postupu proti Titovi a jeho ideologii. Tyto poslední pokusy zvrátit nastolení nového řádu podloženého konferencemi velmocí a silou Titových ozbrojených sil dokázaly na krátkou chvíli pomyslně spojit i největší nepřátele, jako byli chorvatští ustašovci a srbští četnici. Veškeré snahy zvrátit nezvratné však byly marné, a tak mohl Tito, těšící se mezinárodní podpoře, razantně eliminovat své skutečné i domnělé nepřátele a nastolit Jugoslávii novou cestu, cestu komunismu.
Příspěvek se věnuje vybraným metodologickým otázkám výzkumu soudobých dějin pedagogiky a školství. Autoři se v první části zaměřují na změnu v přístupu k výzkumu obecných dějin, když představují tzv. dějiny každodennosti a mikrohistorii. Následně ukazují, jak se tato změna může promítnout do výzkumu soudobých dějin pedagogiky a školství. Ve druhé části studie autoři popisují a vysvětlují podstatu, meze a možnosti orální historie a výzkumu životního příběhu učitele. Ty představují důležité metodologické "nástroje" historika, který se věnuje výzkumu soudobých dějin školství a zaměřuje se na dějiny každodennosti či mikrohistorii. Autoři věnují pozornost mimo jiné teoretickému ukotvení výzkumu životních příběhů učitelů a zabývají se rovněž některými obecnými otázkami narativní analýzy v historickém výzkumu. and This paper examines selected methodological questions related to research in the contemporary history of education and schooling. It first scrutinises a change in approach to historical research by introducing the so-called history of everyday life and microhistory. It then shows how this change can influence research in the contemporary history of education and schooling. The second part of the paper describes the nature, limitations of and possibilities for oral history and teacher life-story research, which are two important methodological tools for any researcher who studies the contemporary history of education and specialises in the history of everyday life and microhistory. The paper provides a theoretical grounding for teacher life-story research and examines some general issues of narrative analysis in historical research.
