Figurální scéna v krajině. Střed kompozice tvoří postavy Venuše s Amorem a Paris se zlatým jablkem v pravé ruce, za Paridem Merkur. V popředí zleva za závěsem bohyně Eris, v ruce drží srdce, dále postavy bohyně Juno a Minerva, sedí zády k divákovi, u jejích nohou štít s tváří Medúzy, v ruce kopí. Vpravo ležící socha - postava vodního božstva se džbánem, z něhož vytéká voda, patrně personifikace Cebrena., Radostová, 2017, I/1, s. 243-246., and Obraz byl dříve pokládán za kopii z 18. století podle Bartholomea Sprangera.
Portál, na obou stranách ostění figura v podobě hermovky-karyatidy. Vpravo žena s rukama sepjatýma na břiše, vlevo vousatý muž s rukama sepjatýma na břiše.
Weihrauch 1970, s. 61 and Kresba Pražské Venušiny kašny (viz: Praha, NG, Pfaff, Venuše a Amor) ve skicáři norimberského městského stavitele W. J. Stromera z roku 1599.
Pieter Stevens v letech 1590 - 1591 pobýval v Itálii, kresba je datována rokem 1592, patrně byl tehdy ještě v Římě, protože studie ruin vznikla nepochybně v terénu. Stevens si svůj italský skicář patrně přivezl do Prahy, některé jeho kresby podle antické architektury použil Egidius Sadeler pro svůj cyklus rytin podle antických památek v Itálii (Sadeler 1606, 42, 45, 47). and Kotalík 1982# n. 86
