Kresba perem (18,5 x 14 cm): nahý Herkules rorzkročený, v pravici kyj, v levici šaty., Fučíková 1997#, 99, I/317, and Patrně příprava pro sochu, nebo reliéf s herkulovským tématem. Vries vytvořil sochu se stejným námětem, ale pojatým zcela jinak, již okolo roku 1603 (Paris, Louvre, Herkules a Nessos ).
Bronz zlacený (65 cm): Lazar sedí nahý na oděvu, psi mu olizují rány na nohou., Fučíková 1997#, I/132, and Námět je biblický (Lukáš 16, 19nn), ale výtvarné pojetí je variací na Láokoónta (gesto pravé ruky, nahoru obrácený obličej s expresivním výrazem, torze těla).
Malba na měděném plechu (29 x 39 cm). Figurální scéna s Dianou a Aktaiónem v krajině., Slavíček 1993#, 241-242., and Hrabě Felix Vršovec získal před rokem 1718 ze sbírky hraběte Johanna Sept. Jörgera, Norimberk. V nostické sbírce v letech 1718-1945.
Malba na měděném plechu ( 29 x 39 cm). Figurální scéna v krajině. Vlevo, pod baldachýnem, skupina nymf a plastika říčního boha s nádobou na vodu. Jedna ze sedících nymf drží v levé ruce hřeben, v pravici zrcadlo, ve kterém se odráží tvář druhé sedící nymfy. Zády ke skupině Diana, stojí v potoce (ve vlasech perly a srpek měsíce), před ní Aktaion se psem a již rostoucím parožím na hlavě, Diana se chystá vetřelce postříkat vodou z potoka. Vpravo pětice nymf. Nad výjevem dva letící putti., Seifertová, Ševčík 1997#, s. 87, č.k. 8a., Seifertová 2001#, 68, č. k. 58., and Dílo bylo věnováno sběrateli J. S. Jörgerovi, do roku 1718 ve sbírce Felixe hraběte Vršovce, pak ve sbírce hraběte Nostice v Praze. Motiv česající se nymfy je zřejmě převzat z grafiky Aegidia Sadelera podle obrazu Josefa Heintze Diana a Aktaion (Vídeň, Kunsthistorisches Museum).
Italský učenec, umělec a architekt Jacopo Strada (1507-1588) byl od roku 1556 v císařských službách. Vynikl také jako numismatik (Strada 1553 a Strada 1559) a jeho syn Ottavio v této tradici pokračoval (Strada 1615), ve všech těchto dílech je řada mincí antických císařů zakončena panujícím habsburským císařem., Fučíková 1997#, II/264, and Jacopo Strada nashromáždil velkou sbírku antických mincí a napdal o nich několik učených pojednání. Tato publikace (De Vitis Imperatorum et Caesarum Romanorum, tam occidentalium quam orientalium Francofurti ad Moenum: Joannes Bringerus, 1615) doplněna o krátké životopisy římských císařů a jejich manželek, potomků, jsou doprovázeny reprodukcemi averzů a reverzů příslušných mincí. Kniha obsahuje 533 takovýchto vyobrazení (též Rudolf II., s. 511-512, č. 529)
Kresba (18, 7 x 14, 7 cm): nahá Danae pololeží na posteli, zeshora se snáší déšť mincí, sloužící u jejích nohou je chytá., Fučíková 1979#, s. 506., and Sloužící sbírající peníze padající z nebe ukazuje, že se nejednalo pouze o zobrazení mýtu o Danaé, ale také o alegorii všemocnosti peněz. V této funkci byl mýtus o Danaé běžně používán (srov. Karr 1978), k tématu se rudolfinští umělci často vraceli (Josef Heintz starší, Nikolaus Pfaff, Jan Vermeyen).
Mědiryt (67, 3 x 42, 1 cm): portrétní busta císaře Matyáše v alegorickém zarámování. Dole je císařský orel s mečem a křížem na globu, pod nímž Závist (hady místo vlasů) a Hloupost (oslí uši). Po stranách portrétu nalevo Uměřenost, muž s kopím krotí Pegase, stojí na válečných trofejích. Napravo Victoria (křídla, přilba, kopí, věnec) zabíjí draka, za ní Sláva (křídla) troubí na trubku. Nad portrétem jsou tři Grácie, tančí a sypou mince a plody z rohů hojnosti. Nahoře se snáší putti s císařskou korunou., Fučíková 1997#, I/371., and Kromě tradičních atributů císařství lze na rytině najít i dva ohlasy antických sochařských typů. Uměřenost krotící Pegasa (to jest výmluvnost) je ohlasem slavného a často napodobovaného sousoší (Dioskurů ?) krotících koně. Jejich neobyčejná proslulost byla důsledkem pozdně antického nápisu, který jednu sochy přiřkl Feidiovi a druhou neméně slavnému sochaři Praxitelovi, dále jejich kolosálního měřítka i skutečnosti, že sousoší Římě stálo od doby antického císařství. Dalším antickým citátem na Matyášově portrétu jsou tři tančící Grácie, které se v pražském rudolfinském umění často objevují jako alegorie rozkvětu, hojnosti a míru charakterizující císařskou vládu. Bohyně Aglaiá (Zářící), Eufrosyné (Blaženost) a Thaleia (Thálie- Rozkvět), dcery Jupitera, byly personifikací půvabu, krásy a slavnostního veselí. V antickém Římu velmi často zobrazované sousoší tří vzájemně propletených Grácií, z nichž střední je zobrazená zezadu, bylo v 16. století známé především z exempláře se sbírky Piccolomini, které bylo od roku 1502 v Pise. Citáty slavných antických soch měly patrně měly patrně naznačit, že Matyášovo vítězství je i triumfem kultury a civilizace.
