Segment from Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) issue no. 1A from 1944 was shot during a Christmas exhibition organised by the Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth and held in the hall of the Black Rose Palace in Na Příkopě Street in Prague from 18 to 22 December. The exhibition included a display of the 500 prettiest toys made as part of the Sewing Dolls initiative. Girls made 59,000 dolls, out of which 44,000 went to the children of the labourers working in the Reich and 15,000 to the children of the German soldiers fighting on the front. The exhibition was toured by Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec and General Secretary of the Board František Teuner.

General Secretary of the Board František Teuner gave a speech at the formal event. The programme included a selection of folk songs by Otakar Jeremiáš performed by the Czech Choir and the Kühn Children´s Choir accompanied by the Czech Philharmonic under the baton of Karel Šejna.

The concert was dedicated to mark the 70th birth anniversary of the late composer Josef Suk. The programme, prepared by the Czech Philharmonic led by conductor Otakar Pařík, included the symphonic poem "Praga".

A concert of three brass bands, led by Miloš Kuba, and the Kühn Children´s Choir was held on Peace Square at 5 pm on 11 September. A procession of the Board´s members set out from Peace Square and continued through the streets of Prague. The event culminated with a track and field championship at Strahov Stadium where the winners of district rounds competed against each other. The spectators were welcomed by General Secretary of the Board František Teuner. The programme included a dance performance by girls in folk costumes. The event concluded with a speech by Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec, followed by a solemn oath "to the Führer and to the Fatherland".

At the A. F. K. Stadium in Kolín nad Labem, approximately 1,500 athletes qualified for the Track and Field Championship of Bohemia and Moravia.

Local women artisans, skilled in the traditional techniques, helped them with painting and etching patterns on Easter eggs.

The official procession through the streets of Kolín was followed by the District Track and Field Championship at the A.F.K. Stadium. Girls in folk costumes danced to folk songs.

The Veterinary Laboratory of the City of Prague, where beekeepers had sent thirty bees from each beehive, sought different ways to stop the mite epidemic. Trained female instructors from the Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth helped with the research.

State Minister Frank addressed the participants and presented František Teuner with a sword of honour. The official event concluded with the participant paying homage to Adolf Hitler. The leaders of the Board of Trustees marched through the streets of Prague.

The event was attended by Prime Minister of the Protectorate Government Jaroslav Krejčí, Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec, Minister of Finance Josef Kalfus and other guests, who watched the proceedings from the boxes overlooking the packed Great Hall. Journalist Karel Werner and General Secretary of the Board František Teuner addressed speeches to the audience. The ceremony was concluded with an oath "to the Führer and to the Fatherland".

The fanfare from the opera Dalibor was followed by a speech by General Secretary of the Board František Teuner, who also laid a wreath on Smetana´s grave. The choir of Prague teachers under the baton of Metod Doležal sang the chorus called "Dowry". The ceremony was concluded with the Nazi salute.

The event was attended by Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec and General Secretary of the Board František Teuner. The diverse programme included the aria "While a Mother´s Love Means Blessing" from Bedřich Smetana´s The Bartered Bride performed by Marie Budíková and Oldřich Kovář as well as performances by young accordion players and a children´s choir.

The Board of Trustees for the Education of Youth exploited its popularity and organised a political rally at the venue, with speeches by the Uherské Hradiště District Representative of the Board Jan Ryba and General Secretary of the Board František Teuner. Then, the youth of Moravian Slovakia paid homage to Adolf Hitler. The festivities concluded with a presentation of Moravian Slovak dances performed by couples wearing folk costumes.

Jan Heřmánek demonstrated boxing skills and children had the opportunity to try out the sport under his supervision. Václav Karola and Mrs. Martínková introduced archery to the audience, while Miroslav Vítek demonstrated shot putting. Football players Josef Maleček, Vlastimil Kopecký, Josef Bican, Karel Kulhánek and Emil Seifert played football tennis and demonstrated headers.

In addition to sports events, the programme for teenagers included lectures.

The participants consisted of 250 junior athletes who qualified in district and provincial races. Trophies were presented to the winners by General Secretary of the Board František Teuner.

The ceremony was held to mark the first anniversary of the Board. The importance of the event was highlighted by the presence of Prime Minister Jaroslav Krejčí. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Adolf Hrubý and Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec spoke to the participants in the chateau courtyard. In the afternoon, the course participants put on a collective sports performance in the park adjoining the chateau.

In addition to lectures, the programme included sports activities to improve the physical fitness of the participants.

The programme included a concert held on Old Town Square on 8 July. The orchestra and choir consisted of several hundred young musicians and singers. Minister of Education and People´s Enlightenment and Chairman of the Board Emanuel Moravec and Deputy Mayor Joseph Pfitzner watched the event from the balcony of the Old Town Hall. The Board of Trustees´ youth set out from the square in a parade through the streets of Prague. The following day, a sports afternoon took place at Strahov Stadium. Guests of honour included Prime Minister Jaroslav Krejčí and the General Secretary of the Board František Teuner. Emanuel Moravec spoke to the participants. The programme included women´s floor exercises, track and field races and women in stylised costumes dancing to folk songs. The event was concluded with the athletes and audience paying homage to Adolf Hitler.

The boys´ final was won by the Central Bohemia I team, who beat the Brno Region I team 27:13. The girls´ final was won by the Brno Region I team, who beat the team from Polabí 17:5.
