International Oral History Association and the Czech Oral History Association jointly sponsored a conference, Between Past and Future: Oral History, Memory and Meaning, held in Prague from 7 to 11 July, 2010. Oral history is a growing specialty within the field of history: new methods, technologies and approaches as well as innovative perspectives and areas of research place it among the discipline’s most dynamic specializations.
