Budova radnice s osmibokou věží, na fasádě věže okna schodiště, antikizující portál se štítem. and Rathaus der Stadt Alfeld an der Leine im Stil der Weserrenaissance. Das Gebäude geht auf einen früheren gotischen Bau zurück, im Inneren sind noch verschiedene (überformte) Bauteile erhalten.
Bronzová plastika: nahý Herkules rozkročený, levicí přidržuje hlavu Hydry, pravicí se napřahuje s kyjem. and Herkules bojující s lernejskou Hydrou měl nepochybně antický vzor, ale jeho původ nelze přesně určit. Antický prototyp byl známý z mincí a dalších snadno dostupných předmětů. Klasické vzory určily i to, že Vriesův Herkules kráčí s kyjem vysoko zdviženým nad hlavou a jeho tělo je spirálovitě otočeno okolo vlastní osy. Postoj Herkula lze srovnat například s bronzovou sochou vystavenou dnes v Louvru, která vznikla v severní Itálii ve druhé čtvrtině 16. století. Výjev s Herkulem a hydrou pojal obdobným způsobem Paolo della Stela na reliéfu pro císaře Ferdinanda I. (Praha, Belvedér, Herkules a Hydra). Monstra, s nimiž Herkules bojoval, symbolizují zlo.
Kresba (19, 9 x 14, 8 cm): nahá žena s volskou kůží přes ramena běží od rozbouřeného moře s potápějícími se koráby. V ruce drží caduceus a olivovou snítku., Prag um 1600#, I, č. 217 s. 356., and Volská kůže znamená píli, caduceus kombinovaný s olivovou snítkou odkazuje na Hermathenu, ztělesnění ctností Merkura a Minervy.
Figurální scéna v krajině. Střed kompozice tvoří postavy Venuše s Amorem a Paris se zlatým jablkem v pravé ruce, za Paridem Merkur. V popředí zleva za závěsem bohyně Eris, v ruce drží srdce, dále postavy bohyně Juno a Minerva, sedí zády k divákovi, u jejích nohou štít s tváří Medúzy, v ruce kopí. Vpravo ležící socha - postava vodního božstva se džbánem, z něhož vytéká voda, patrně personifikace Cebrena., Radostová, 2017, I/1, s. 243-246., and Obraz byl dříve pokládán za kopii z 18. století podle Bartholomea Sprangera.
Olej na plátně (118 x 160 cm). Scéna v krajině, v popředí vpravo ležící socha říčního boha, vlevo štít s hlavou Medúzy. Vpravo nad sochou Paris, Venuše a Merkur, vlevo Minerva a Juno, za ní Eris s jablkem., Vacková 1989, 176-177, 213., and Obraz byl dříve pokládán za kopii z 18. století podle Bartholomea Sprangera.
Ve hřbitovní zdi u kostela sv. Jakuba (post. 1559, 1589 přest. asi C. Valmadi - sakristie a oratoř, klenba; věž 1608, 1629 předsíň - rest. v 19. st.) zazděna renesanční brána z r. 1578. Sgrafitová rustika, grotesky a nápisy z r. 1589. and Poche 1977#, s. 303.
Olej na plátně (87, 5 x 133 cm): Paris (plášť) sedí pod stromem a předává jablko před ním stojící nahé Venuši, u níž Amor (luk). Nad Venuší letí puto s věncem. Napravo sedí Minerva, plášť okolo dolní poloviny těla, pravici na štítu, na zemi přilba a kopí, vedle pes. Nalevo od Venuše Juno. Nad Paridem za stromem Merkur (okřídlená čapka, caduceus, plášť) se zdviženou rukou. V levém dolním rohu říční bůh, napravo v pozadí skupina nahých říčních božstev na mořském břehu., Fusenig 2010#, č. 24 s. 138-139., and K obrazu je dochována přípravná kresba (Paris, Louvre) a její varianta (Wien, Albertina). Obraz byl často kopírován, k jeho popularitě přispěla Sadelerova grafická reprodukce z roku 1589. V rudolfinském umění najdeme jeho ohlas na stříbrné medaily Jana Vermeyena z doby před rokem 1608.
