Cílem práce je prostudovat vztah kultury, archeologické kultury a sociální identity (etnicity). Tyto jednotlivé klíčové pojmy prodělaly v průběhu vývoje archeologických i antropologických teorií bouřlivý vývoj, což však ne všichni současní badatelé reflektují. Proto je zde podán stručný přehled historie vzniku a obsahu antropologické a archeologické kultury a etnicity. Prostor je také věnován etnoarcheologickému přínosu při studiu stylu hmotné kultury. Závěrem je, že archeologická kultura nepředstavuje odraz sociální identity a etnicity minulých populací, a že pojetí archeologických kultur jako interpretačních jednotek původních společností je třeba revidovat. and The aim of the work is to study the relationship between culture, archaeological culture and social identity (ethnicity). These individual key terms have a stormy history in the development of archaeological and anthropological theory, a fact that is not reflected by all contemporary researchers. For this reason, the essay includes a brief overview of the history of the emergence and content of anthropological and archaeological culture and ethnicity. Attention is likewise paid to the ethnoarchaeological contribution in studying the style of material culture. The conclusion reached by the author is that archaeological culture does not reflect the social identity and ethnicity of past populations and that the concept of archaeological cultures as interpretive units of original societies needs to be revised.
The discussion study takes as its starting point the thinking, which Professor Šmajs and others presented in Filosofický časopis 6, 2013 on evolutionary ontology. The author shows an enduring aspect of evolutionary ontology: ontology as the product of human culture attains to knowledge that has the seeming character of objective truth - it thus expresses the true nature of the ontic order of nature. This is not, however, the usual nonsense of inconsistent philosophy. The author of the text identifies as lying behind the step Kantian and Hegelian strategies which make possible this shift from the order of culture to the order of nature. These strategies are (i) a sign of the grounding of Professor Šmajs´ ideas in early-modern thinking; and (ii) they are the cause of a strongly anthropocentric attitude, which unwittingly influences the system of evolutionary ontology. At the end of the study, the author points to the fact that it would be more appropriate for evolutionary ontology if its proponents were able to give up their early-modern argumentative approach, and thus rid themselves of their strong anthropocentrism. In this way they would be able to avoid the conceptual conflict which makes evolutionary ontology "frozen" from within., Radim Šíp., and Obsahuje poznámky a bibliografii
Cílem tohoto příspěvku je přednést některá témata a nastínit některé metodologické problémy současného psychologického výzkumu psychického vývoje osobnosti v různých kulturách. V části věnované některým úskalím metodologie zmiňuje článek otázku konceptualizace pojmů kultura a osobnost, problematičnost nároků na univerzálnost vývojových teorií vzniklých v euroamerickém prostředí a některé navrhované metodologické potupy, jak bez předpojatosti zkoumat vývoj osobnosti v nezápadních kulturách. Dále přibližuje různé kritiky stadiálních teorií vývoje a navrhované nové přístupy výzkumu, které mají vysvětlovat vývoj, ne pouze popisovat statické stavy v různých stádiích vývoje. V části věnované některým tématům výzkumu se kromě krátké zmínky o hlavních tématech (např. výzkum emocionálního, morálního a spirituálního vývoje) zaměřuje hlavně na pojetí Self a uvádí též současná vysvětlení kulturních rozdílů v pojetí Self, nový model C. Kagitcibaciové: autonomous-related Self, včetně socio-ekonomických vlivů na vznik tohoto pojetí Self. and The aim of this paper is to present some of the topics and some of the methodological problems of current psychological research regarding psychological development of personality in different cultures. The methodology section mentions the problems associated with the very concepts of culture and personality, the problematic claims to universality of evolutionary theories arising from the Euro-American environment as well as some of the proposed ways to study personality development in non-Western cultures without bias. It also gives some insight into various criticisms of the theory of evolution by stages as well as into some new research approaches proposed that aim to explain development, not only describe static states at different stages of development. The thematic section, after having briefly mentioned the main issues (eg. research on emotional, moral and spiritual development), focuses mainly on the concept of Self. It also presents an explanation of cultural differences in the concept of Self - the new model by C. Kagitcibaci: an autonomous - related Self, including socio-economic impact on the formation of this concept of Self.
The article traces the role and image of the wood and the tree in the culture of Ancient China as emerging from the transmitted literature of the Warring States period. Although this topic has already been touched upon in some previous studies, such as Mark Elvin's The Retreat of the Elephants, no comprehensive description based on at least nearly exhaustive systematization of respective data available to us in primary sources has been presented yet, especially for trees. In this paper, virtually all recorded modes of approaching the phenomena by the learned men of the Warring States are summarized and supplied with extensive reference to ancient texts. Apart from other issues, it clearly demonstrates that the skeptical stance to ancient Chinese love for nature and to the ecological ethos of traditional Chinese culture is highly justified., Lukáš Zádrapa., and Obsahuje bibliografii
