The article deals with Muslim presence in Belgium. It sumps up the socio-political development after Second World War and the role of Muslims in this process. The author shows specific approaches of Belgium authorities towards Muslims. She also presents the spiritual features of Belgium Muslims and Christians and the development of their religious organisations in the country. The article further discusses Christian social care for immigrants, and shows several examples on a case of the city of Antwerp.
