Cieľ: Cieľom štúdie bolo analyzovať faktory ovplyvňujúce dentálnu hygienu, medzi ktoré patrí konzumácia sladkostí a sladených nápojov u školskej mládeže z hľadiska veku a pohlavia a zároveň analyzovať výskyt dentálnej hygieny počas dňa. Metodika: Súbor respondentov tvorilo 1187 žiakov (620 dievčat a 567 chlapcov) vo veku 11, 13 a 15 rokov v oblasti stredného Slovenska. Zber údajov prebiehal v období máj 2010 až jún 2010. Na zber údajov bol použitý štandardizovaný dotazník vytvorený pre potreby HBSC štúdie (Health Behaviour in School – aged Children). Výsledky boli vyhodnotené Chí-kvadrát testom. Výsledky: Sladkosti a kolu v jednotlivých vekových kategóriách konzumuje každý deň alebo viac krát za deň približne tretina respondentov. Výskyt umývania zubov viac ako raz denne je približne rovnaký vo všetkých vekových kategóriách od 53% u 11 ročných chlapcov do 64% u 15 ročných dievčat. Vo všetkých vekových kategóriách dievčatá udávajú častejšie umývanie zubov v porovnaní s chlapcami. Záver: Výsledky poukazujú na zvýšenú konzumáciu sladkostí a koly počas dňa u školskej mládež stredného Slovenska, čo môže spôsobovať zvýšenú kazivosť zubov. Dentálna hygiena je v našom súbore respondentov nedostačujúca. Na základe získaných výsledkov je možné konštatovať, že potreba zvyšovania úrovne vedomostí nielen detí, ale aj rodičov o zásadách správneho stravovania a o zásadách dentálnej hygieny je neodmysliteľnou súčasťou výchovy k zdraviu a preventívnych opatrení v školskom veku., Aim: The aim of the study was to analyse the factors affecting dental hygiene such as consumption of sweets and sweet soft drinks in school-aged pupils in terms of their age and gender and at the same time to analyse the occurrence of dental hygiene during the day. Methods: The set of respondents consisted of 1187 pupils (620 girls and 567 boys) at the age of 11, 13 and 15 years in the area of central Slovakia. The data collection was conducted in the period of May 2010 to June 2010. For data collection was used standardized questionnaire for HBSC studies (Health Behaviour in School–aged Children). The results were analysed by Chi-square test. Results: Approximately one third of respondents in each category consumes sweets and Coca-cola every day or several times a day. The occurrence of cleaning the teeth more than once a day was equally proved in all age groups ranging from 53% in 11 years old boys to 64% in 15 years old girls. The girls of all age groups indicate more frequent cleaning of teeth in comparison with boys. Conclusion: The results show increased consumption of sweets and Cocacola during the day in the school youth from central Slovakia, which may cause an increase in tooth decay. Dental hygiene in our set of respondents is insufficient. Based on the obtained results is possible to state that the need for higher level of knowledge, not only in children but also in parents about the principles of proper diet and proper dental hygiene is the integral part of the preventive measures and health education at school age., Mária Kožuchová, Martina Bašková, and Literatura 18
Cieľ: Práca má design prierezovej, deskriptívnej štúdie, ktorej cieľom bolo zhodnotiť, aký je vzťah medzi psychickou záťažou, výskytom depresívnej symptomatológie a subjektívnou pohodou u sestier. Metodika: Vzorku respondentov tvorilo 78 sestier pracujúcich v NsP v Levoči a Spišskej Novej Vsi. Na meranie psychickej záťaže bol použitý Meisterov dotazník neuropsychickej záťaže, na meranie výskytu depresie skríningový nástroj Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ 9) a na meranie subjektívnej pohody Personal Well-Being Index (PWI) pre zdravú dospelú populáciu. Výsledky: Bol potvrdený významný vzťah medzi psychickou záťažou, výskytom depresívnej symptomatológie a subjektívnou pohodou u sestier. Vyššia frekvencia výskytu depresívnej symptomatológie sa u nich spájala s vyššou psychickou záťažou a nižšou subjektívnou pohodou. Významným a zároveň alarmujúcim zistením bolo, že len 28 % sestier uvádzalo nevýznamnú depresívnu symptomatológiu. Až u 50 % sestier bola podľa PHQ 9 prítomná ľahká depresia. Štatisticky významné korelácie boli identifikované medzi všetkými tromi faktormi Meisterovho dotazníka, ako aj jeho hrubým skóre a PHQ 9. Najsilnejšie korelácie boli medzi Faktorom I (preťaženie) a PHQ 9. Záver: Výsledky poukazujú na skutočnosť, ţe práve aspekty pracovného preťaţenia (časová tieseň, problémy a konflikty, vysoká zodpovednosť) môžu u sestier viesť ku častejšiemu prežívaniu jednotlivých symptómov depresie (predovšetkým k únave a zníženému záujmu). V ďalšom výskume navrhujeme sa zamerať na sledovanie vzťahu troch premenných: depresia, burnout a psychická záťaž sestier., Aim: The study has a design of descriptive cross-sectional survey. The aim of this study was to investigate relationship between psychological load, depressive symptomatology and subjective well-being of nurses. Methods: Sample of respondents consisted of 78 nurses from two public hospitals (Levoča and Spišská Nová Ves). To measure the psychological load was used the Meister questionnaire of neuro-psychological load. To measure the incidence of depression was used the screening tool Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ 9). To measure subjective well-being was used Personal Well-Being Index (PWI) for a healthy adult population. Results: The results indicated that there is a significant correlation between psychological load, depressive symptomatology and subjective well-being of nurses. The higher frequency of depressive symptomatology was associated with higher level of psychological load and lower subjective well-being level. The depressive symptomatology has a significant relation with neuropsychological strain and subjective well-being. Important and at the same time alarming finding was that only 28% of nurses reported insignificant depressive symptomatology. According to PHQ 9 was present mild depression in up to 50% of nurses. Statistically significant correlations were identified between all three factors of Meister questionnaire, as well as his gross score and the PHQ 9. The strongest correlations were between Factor I (overload) a PHQ 9. Conclusion: The results show that mainly aspects of work overload (time constraints, problems and conflicts, high accountability) can lead in nurses to more frequent survival of individual symptoms of depression (especially the fatigue and reduced interests). Cieľ: Na základe štyroch faktorov – kompetencie a skúsenosti sestry; možnosti a kvalita vzdelávania; stav pacienta; organizačné faktory opísať skúsenosť sestier s využívaním ošetrovateľskej diagnostiky vo výučbe a praxi. Metodika: Na zber empirických údajov sme použili dotazník vlastnej konštrukcie s otvorenými otázkami, zameraný na reflexiu stimulov a bariér pri využívaní ošetrovateľských diagnóz v oblastiach vzdelávanie, klinická prax a výskum. Na spracovanie a vyhodnotenie získaných údajov sme využili kvalitatívnu analýzu dát. Do výskumného súboru boli zaradení štyria respondenti, bývalí študenti doktorandského štúdia. Výsledky: Pri identifikovaní stimulov, ako aj bariér v používaní ošetrovateľských diagnóz dominovali v našom výskume faktory z oblasti vzdelávania, kompetencií a organizácie ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti. Pri identifikácii stimulov a bariér sa respondenti zamerali skôr na technické a administratívne aspekty práce s diagnózami ako na ich praktickú utilizáciu a reálne benefity pre pacienta. Závery: Ošetrovateľské diagnózy v klinickej praxi sú vnímame predovšetkým ako problém teoretického vymedzenia a nie východiska pre intervencie, tak ako to je napríklad pri diagnostike v iných odboroch (v medicíne, psychológii a podobne). Konkrétne príklady benefitov správnej a negatívnych konzekvencií nesprávnej diagnostiky by tak mohli prispieť k efektívnejšiemu prepojeniu teórie s praxou vo vzdelávaní. Pri prekonávaní bariéry v tejto oblasti je nutné zamerať sa najprv na kultiváciu postoja sestier a praktický význam diagnostikovania., Aim: Regarding four factors - the competence and experience of nurses, opportunities and quality of education, complexity of a patient’s situation, and organizational factors - describe the experience with the use of nursing diagnosis in nursing education and practice. Methods: To collect empirical data, we used a questionnaire of our own design with open questions, focused on the reflection of incentives and barriers by using nursing diagnoses in the areas of education, clinical practice and research. For the processing and evaluation of the data, we used qualitative data analysis. Four respondents, former PhD students were included in the research file. Results: To identify incentives as well as barriers by using nursing diagnoses factors of education, competence and organization of nursing care dominated in our study. When identifying the incentives and barriers to the use of nursing diagnoses in our study were dominated by. In addition to this respondents focused more on the technical and administrative working aspects with diagnoses as to their practical utilization and real benefits to the patient. Conclusion: Nursing diagnosis in clinical practice are perceived primarily as a theoretical definition of the problem and not as the basis for intervention, as it is in the case of the diagnosis in other fields (in medicine, psychology, etc.).
