Předmětem našeho dalšího výzkumu bude zjišťování, na jakou látku v moči pes vlastně reaguje a díky tomu je schopen označit pozitivní vzorek., Prostate cancer is the most common solid malign tumour in men in many developed countries of the world. Our study evaluates the ability to detect the presence of prostate cancer in human urine samples using olfactory cells of specifically trained dog. The definitive confirmation of prostate cancer should be verified histologically. One of the alternative biomarkers that can be detected by the dog are so called volatile organic compounds. In our research we are trying to identify the specific agent in urine, which is detected by the dog and thereby a positive sample is marked, and Vyhnánková V., Pacík D., Urbanová L., Nečas A., Tučková M.
Pokud nejsou léčeny správně, mohou způsobit ireverzibilní změny dolních i horních močových cest. Cílem prospektivní kontrolované studie bylo zhodnotit parametry urodynamického vyšetření u pacientů s RS v časové ose a vytvořit případně doporučení dispenzarizace pro klinickou praxi., Lower urinary tract symptoms due to neurogenic dysfunction of the lower urinary tract (NDLUT) belong to symptoms that most often bother patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). If not treated properly, can lead to irreversible changes of the lower and upper urinary tract. NDLUT may also worsen the course of MS and general health disability. Current recommendations generated by ICS and EAU for monitoring patients with NDLUT are generally designed for patients with any neurological disabilities, but not for patients with MS. Our clinical observations indicate worsening of NDLUT in patients with MS in relation to the dynamic progression of the demyelinating disease. The aim of this prospective controlled study was to evaluate the parameters of urodynamic examinations in patients with MS in the timeline and create a recommendations for clinical practice., and Varga G., Pacík D., Wasserbauer R., Pavlík T., Janoušová E., Praksová P.
