Úvod: Vysoká incidence kolorektálního karcinomu představuje v České republice aktuální a populačně závažný zdravotnický problém. Polovina všech nemocných je věku nad 70 let. Možnosti chirurgické i nechirurgické léčby v této skupině závisejí na faktorech, jen minimálně vyjádřitelných zavedenou onkologickou a anesteziologickou klasifikací (cTcNcM, ASA). Cílem práce je ukázat vliv věku na využití léčebných modalit do protokolu léčby a na její výsledky a na jiné možnosti hodnocení únosnosti k léčbě. Metody: Analýza údajů z databáze NOR z pětiletého období 2008–2012 zpracované Institutem biostatistiky a analýz MU. Výsledky: Ve všech sledovaných parametrech byl prokázán rozdíl mezi nemocnými pod a nad 70 let v neprospěch starších. Ve věku pod 70 let nebylo léčeno 11,2 % nemocných, ve věku na 70 let 25,2 %. Závěr: K rozhodování o způsobu vedení léčby včetně volby operace by mohla přispět klasifikace pomocí komplexního geriatrického vyšetření., Introduction: High incidence of colorectal cancer in the Czech Republic is an actual and demographically significant health issue. Half of all of the patients is older than 70 years. Both surgical and non-surgical treatment options in this group of patients depend on factors that are difficult to measure only by current oncological and anesthesiological classifications (cTcNcM, ASA). The objective of this paper is to measure the impact of age on the use of various treatment modalities within the protocol and their results, and also to suggest alternative options for therapy tolerance assessment. Methods: Analysis of data over a five-year period from the NOR database prepared by the Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses, Masaryk University. Results: In all parameters a difference was demonstrated between patients below the age of 70 and those above the age of 70 years. Older patients were disadvantaged. Only 11.2% of patients younger than 70 years were not treated, whereas 25.2% over the age of 70 years were not treated. V letech 1995–2014 monitorovala situaci v oblasti léčby uživatelů nelegálních psychoaktivních látek v České republice (dále jen ČR) hygienická služba ČR. Z longitudinálního sledování a analýzy dat vyplynuly dlouhodobé trendy ve vývoji epidemiologické situace abúzu návykových látek v celé ČR i v jednotlivých krajích. Spolu se základními epidemiologickými charakteristikami byly hodnoceny také sociodemografické ukazatele. Získané výsledky vypovídají o rostoucím trendu v počtu žádostí o léčbu v české populaci uživatelů drog. Skupina uživatelů opiátů v léčbě pozvolna stárne. Dlouhodobě nejvíce preferovanou užívanou nelegální drogou je metamfetamin aplikovaný injekčně. V průběhu sledovaných let se preference jednotlivých psychoaktivních látek postupně měnila. Preferenci opiátů vystřídaly u prvožadatelů o léčbu kanabinoidy. Nejvyšším stupněm dosaženého vzdělání u uživatelů návykových látek v léčbě je vzdělání základní, z hlediska zaměstnání převažují nezaměstnaní. Během sledovaného období došlo k navýšení průměrného věku mezi všemi léčenými klienty o 5,5 roku. Nejvyšší prevalenci žádostí o léčbu vykazovaly ve sledovaném období kraje Ústecký, Olomoucký, Praha a kraj Vysočina., The treatment demand indicator is one of five key indicators of drug epidemiology. Over the years 1995–2014 the Public Health Service of the Czech Republic monitored users of illegal psychoactive substances under treatment. From a longitudinal observation and analysis of data epidemiological trends in drug abuse in the Czech Republic and its individual regions were characterized. Along with basic characteristics of drug use, risk behaviour and related treatment socio-demographic indicators were also evaluated. Results of this monitoring indicate an increasing trend in the number of treatment demands in the Czech population of drug users. Opiates users under treatment are slowly getting older. The most preferably used illegal drug is methamphetamine administered by injection. Over the years, the preferences for seeking different psychoactive substances gradually changed. Opiates were replaced by cannabinoids in users first treatment. The highest level of education attained by treated drug users is primary education. In terms of employment the unemployed predominate. During the reporting period there was an increase of about 5.5 years in the average age among all treatment clients. Obezita je známým rizikovým faktorem pro řadu zdravotních problémů v dospělosti. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit prevalenci nadměrné hmotnosti a obezity u 6–7letých dětí na základních školách v Olomouckém kraji v roce 2014 a vyhodnotit přístup rodičů k programu, který je zaměřen na primární prevenci obezity u dětí. Výzkumný soubor zahrnuje 337 dětí (chlapci n=172, dívky n=165), u kterých byl hodnocen nutriční stav pomocí metod standardizované antropometrie a metodou bioelektrické impedance (BIA). Pro každé dítě byl vypočítán BMI a následně bylo zařazeno do příslušného percentilového pásma BMI. Rodiče obdrželi písemné vyrozumění o hodnocení nutričního stavu svého dítěte a měli možnost informovat se o jeho léčbě v případě zjištění nadměrné hmotnosti nebo obezity. K vyhodnocení dat byl použit neparametrický Mann a Whitney U-test, nepárový t-test a test rozdílů mezi dvěma poměry. Nadměrná hmotnost byla zjištěna u 7,56 % chlapců a 5,45 % dívek, obezita u 8,14 % chlapců a 5,45 % dívek. Na základě analýzy tělesného složení pomocí BIA bylo podle procentuálního množství tukové tkáně zařazeno do kategorie obezita 10,47 % chlapců a 7,88 % dívek. Monitorování prevalence nadměrné hmotnosti a obezity u dětí v Olomouckém kraji ukázalo na růst obezity u 6–7letých chlapců a dívek a na nedostatečný zájem rodičů o aktivní zapojení do preventivních programů v boji proti obezitě., Obesity is an established risk factor for numerous health problems in adulthood. The aim of the research was to determine the prevalence of overweight and obesity in children aged 6 to 7 in elementary schools in the Olomouc region in 2014, and to assess the attitude of the parents to the programme which focuses on the primary prevention of obesity in children. The research group includes 337 children (boys n=172, girls n=165) whose nutritional status was evaluated using the methods of standardized anthropometry and bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). The BMI of each child was calculated and subsequently categorized within the respective BMI percentile range. The parents received a written notification of the nutritional status of their child, and those whose children were diagnosed with overweight or obesity could request information about treatment. The data were evaluated using the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test, unpaired t-test, and the test of differences between two quantities. Overweight was found in 7.56% of boys and 5.45% of girls, while obesity in 8.14% of boys and 5.45% of girls. Based on the BIA analysis of body composition, depending on the percentage amount of adipose tissue, 10.47% of boys and 7.88% of girls were classified as obese.
