Ty byly zveřejňovány zpravidla u příležitosti životních jubileí nebo úmrtí., Ever since the Hudební věda journal’s beginnings, bibliography has maintained its place there as one of the mainstays of scholarly work in the field. We find individual lists as early as the anthology sets from the early 1950s, published as part of the Knižnice Hudebních rozhledů (Musical horizons library) series. After the CSAS Musicology Institute was established, a journal of the same name was launched there, but only individual lists were presented at that time, without any long-term connections. The watershed year was 1972, when Muzikologická produkce v českých zemích za rok 1970 (Musicological output in the Czech lands for 1970) was first published, which started off the annual lists of specialist works published with occasional gaps to this day, and covering the 1970-2015 period. The text also focuses on the changes taking place in their internal structure. Another separate chapter deals with ‘‘personal bibliographies’’, which were occasionally published lists of works by Czech musicologists classified between 1988 and 2002. As a rule these were published to mark the anniversary of a birth or death. Translated by Melvyn Clarke, and Překlad resumé: Melvyn Clarke
A synthetic jet can be produced over broad range of time and length-scales. Theirs unique attributes make them attractive fluidic actuators for various flow-control tasks. Generation, evolution and interaction of synthetic jets are reviewed in the presented paper. Application of this actuator type ranging from separation and turbulence control, control to thrust vectoring and mixing augmentation to skin friction control is shown. and Obsahuje seznam literatury
The present paper focuses on the form of the first person present conditional as a component of explicit performative formulae (EPF), which are considered to be a means directly expressing the communicative function of an utterance. We try to demonstrate that the performative usage of verbs is not limited to indicative forms of imperfective verbs in Czech, as usually stated, but that also the form of the first person present conditional of imperfective as well as perfective verbs is used as an ordinary component of EPF. In Section 2, basic characteristics of EPF are briefly described. Two groups of verbs (verbs of assertion and verbs of appeal) are examined on the basis of language data from two corpora: from the Prague Dependency Treebank 2.0 and SYN2005 corpus (Sect. 3). In Section 4, the performative function of the conditional forms of these verbs is attested by means of Austin’s test and by some other criteria described in theoretical works. We further examine how the propositional content is expressed in analyzed utterances as well as what the difference between the examined EPF with the conditional verb form and the EPF with the indicative form is.
The present article introduces a new operationalization of preference theory in the Czech Republic; and tests if fertility differs in terms of life-style preferences using data from a survey of men and women in post-reproductive period (aged 40 +) of the life cycle. This study has three main parts. First, it introduces and discusses a new operationalization of life-style preferences that can be applied for both men and women. Secondly, this paper presents the distribution of life-style preferences among males and females in the Czech population. In the final part, the authors test whether this new typology is a good predictor of Czech fertility levels, and highlight the differences in fertility between men and women by lifestyle preferences., Beatrice Chromková Manea a Ladislav Rabušic., and Obsahuje bibliografii
