Studie má za cíl představit strukturu Hayekova evolucionismu. Argumentace postupuje v několika krocích: (i) Východiskem je historickosystematická expozice způsobu, jakým evoluční teorie ovlivnila Hayekovu filosofii, především s ohledem na periodizaci vývoje jeho myšlení a systematické odlišení explanans a explanandum v rámci jeho teorie vědy. (ii) Dále je rozebírán způsob, jakým Hayek rozvíjí svoji metodologii vědy. V této souvislosti je argumentováno ve prospěch teze, že Hayekovo pojetí metodologického dualismu je důsledkem ovlivnění evoluční teorií. Zároveň je evoluční teorie představena jako nástroj vysvětlení, konkrétně pak tzv. vysvětlení vzorce. (iii) Následně je představeno Hayekovo pojetí společnosti v kontextu kulturní evoluce. Společnost je interpretována jako řád jednání a je kladen důraz na Hayekovo vnímání společnosti jako řádu vyvíjejícího se společně s lidskou myslí. (iv) Na základě těchto předpokladů je v poslední části rozvinuto Hayekovo pojetí mysli. Toto pojetí vychází z konekcionistické pozice. Dále argumentuji proti tradičnímu pohledu na Hayekovu filosofi i jako rozvíjení Kantovy filosofie. Závěr rekapituluje základní body Hayekova evolucionismu., The study aims to introduce the structure of Hayek’s evolutionism and proceeds in the following steps: (i) A historical and systematic exposition of the theory of evolution’s influence on Hayek’s philosophy is the starting point. Emphasis is placed on the timeline of the development of his system of ideas and the systematic differentiation between the explanans and the explanandum in his theory of science. (ii) The way Hayek develops his methodology of science is also analyzed. In relation to this, the thesis that Hayek’s take on methodological dualism is a direct result of the influence of the theory of evolution is affirmed. The theory of evolution is portrayed as a tool of explanation, specifically as a so-called explanation of pattern. (iii) Hayek’s take on society in context of the theory of evolution is presented. Society is interpreted as an order of action with emphasis on Hayek’s assumption that society is an order evolving along with the human mind. (iv) The last part of the text elaborates on Hayek’s perspective on the mind. This theory is rooted in connectionism. I argue against the traditional view of Hayek’s philosophy as an elaboration on Kant’s philosophy. The final summary reviews the fundamental points of Hayek’s evolutionism., and Pavel Doleček.

This article argues that understanding any space or site relies on a knowledge of its fourth dimension - the timescape. It will explore this by situating the investigation in the museum - a place of heightened contrivance which could easily be shallowly interpreted as "mere style". It will defend a new method of investigating museum temporality which combines both phenomenology and literary theory, and will replace the idea of geo-epistemology with geochronic epistemology: an understanding of context and situation which takes on time as well as spatial location. In so doing, it moves on from notions of the museum as a place out of time, situating it in the networks of meaning, power and politics in which we have lived and are living. Thus, "the whole space of the exhibition" as Lyotard said, "becomes the remains of all time": the Museum on the Edge of Forever., Tento článek pracuje s argumentem, že porozumění jakémukoliv prostoru či místu se odvíjí od znalosti jeho čtvrtého rozměru – krajiny času. Toto tvrzení probádává tak, že zasazuje výzkum do muzea – místa se zvýšenou mírou machinace, již by bylo snadno povrchně interpretovat jako "pouhý styl“. Článek obhajuje novou metodu zkoumání temporality muzea, jež v sobě kombinuje fenomenologii i literární teorii a nahrazuje myšlenku geoepistemologie geochronickou epistemologií: porozuměním kontextu a situaci, jež je umístěno jak v čase, tak v prostoru. Tím, že tak činí, se článek posunuje od pojetí muzea jakožto místa mimo čas a zasazuje jej do sítí významů, moci a politiky, v nichž jsme žili a stále žijeme. Takto se "veškerý prostor výstavy“, jak poznamenal Lyotard, "stává pozůstatkem všeho času: muzeem na okraji věčnosti., and Jennifer Walklate.

Th is article proposes some refl ections on the status of the quadrivium in the epistles X–XIV of one of the best known encyclopaedia of the Brethren of Purity Rasā’il, by reconstructing the implied methodology of how the quadrivium is applied within a theoretic philosophy and therefore how all these aspects concur in order to obtain demonstrations that are in complete cohesion with soundness. Following a hermeneutical methodology, this research explores the ways to get to the universal truth and how exactly one arrives to it. Th e fi rst part explains what perceived science is and what its defi ning features are, while the second part illustrates a distribution of the application of the quadrivium in relation with what the Brethren of Purity established as methods of acquiring knowledge. Finally, the last part evaluates some examples that can be traced from a ground of the quadrivial disciplines in order to show how some elements of formal logic are evaluated. and Článek nabízí refl exi statusu kvadrivia v listech X–XIV jedné z nejznámějších encyklopedií Bratrstva čistoty Rasā’il a rekonstruuje v ní zahrnutou metodologii užívání kvadrivia v rámci teoretické fi losofi e, tedy jak v něm jsou získávány naprosto korektní důkazy. Pomocí hermeneutické metodologie jsou zkoumány způsoby, jak se přibližovat k obecné pravdě a jak přesně k ní jednotlivci dospívají. První část vysvětluje, co je to empirická věda a jaké jsou její určující rysy, zatímco druhá část dokládá, jak Bratrstvo čistoty nahlíželo na rozličná užití kvadrivia jako na metody vedoucí k poznání. Závěrečná část hodnotí některé příklady, které lze nalézt v samotných základech kvadriviálních disciplín a demonstruje na nich, jak je v nich využita formální logika.
