Cíl. Korelace ultrazvukového vyšetření polohy disku temporomandibulárního kloubu s vyšetřením na magnetické rezonanci. Metoda. Celkem bylo vyšetřeno 95 pacientů, 112 čelistních kloubů, soubor zahrnoval 10 mužů, 85 žen, věkové rozhraní 14-74 let, průměrný věk 37 let. Vyšetření na ultrazvuku probíhalo na přístroji Philips iu22 lineární 17 MHz sondou ve dvou fázích - klidové a dynamické - při otevírání úst. Na magnetické rezonanci byli pacienti vyšetření na přístroji Philips Achieva 1,5 T s povrchovou cívkou a mikroskopickou cívkou, každé vyšetření zahrnovalo sekvenci s postupným otevíráním úst. Výsledky. Souhlas mezi ultrazvukovým vyšetřením a magnetickou rezonancí při ventrální poloze byl 96%, z toho byla diagnostikována repozice disku v 94%, u pacientů bez repozice byla senzitivita nižší - 65%., Aim. The aim of this study was the correlation of an ultrasound examination of the disk of the temporomandibular joint with the magnetic rezonance examination. Method. In total has been examined 95 patients, 112 mandibular joints, file include 10 men, 85 women, age interface 14-74 years old, the average age of 37 years. Cieľom štúdie bolo zistiť a porovnať mieru duševného zdravia (subjektívnej pohody, emocionálnej rovnováhy, sebaúcty a životných udalostí) u žiakov na základných školách v závislosti od pohlavia, typu školy, ročníkov a typu rodiny. Výskum bol realizovaný na základných školách a 8-ročnom gymnáziu v žilinskom regióne. Do výskumu bolo zaradených 406 žiakov 6-tych a 7-mych ročníkov. Priemerný vek žiakov bol 12,4 roka. Na meranie miery duševného zdravia sme použili dotazník subjektívnej pohody (GHQ 12), škálu emocionálnej rovnováhy (ABS), škálu sebaúcty podľa Rosenberga (SeS) a inventár životných udalostí (LEI). Súčasťou výskumných nástrojov bol vytvorený formulár s demografickými údajmi, ktorý obsahoval vek, pohlavie, typ školy, ročník/trieda, typ rodiny, typ bývania a vzdelanie rodičov. Zo štatistických metód sa použil Mann-Whitney test a chí-kvadrátový test. Porovnanie podľa vybraných sociodemografických ukazovateľov prinieslo signifikantné rozdiely. U dievčat sa zistilo v porovnaní s chlapcami signifikantne vyššie priemerné skóre v dotazníku subjektívnej pohody, v subškále negatívnych emócií a v inventári negatívnych životných udalostí. U chlapcov sa zaznamenalo signifikantne vyššie priemerné skóre v škále sebaúcty a v sumáre emocionálnej rovnováhy. U žiakov základných škôl sa zistilo signifikantne vyššie priemerné skóre v inventári negatívnych životných udalostí v porovnaní s ich rovesníkmi žiakmi 8-ročného gymnázia. Žiaci 8-ročného gymnázia mali signifikantne vyššie priemerné skóre v sumáre životných udalostí v porovnaní s ich rovesníkmi žiakmi základnej školy. U žiakov 6. ročníka sa zistilo signifikantne vyššie priemerné skóre v subškále pozitívnych emócií, v sumáre emocionálnej rovnováhy, v inventári pozitívnych životných udalostí a v sumáre životných udalostí. U žiakov 7. ročníka sa zistilo signifikantne vyššie priemerné skóre v dotazníku subjektívnej pohody. U žiakov z úplnej rodiny sa zistilo signifikantne vyššie priemerné skóre v inventári pozitívnych životných udalostí a v sumáre životných udalostí. Žiaci z neúplnej rodiny mali signifikantne vyššie priemerné skóre v inventári negatívnych životných udalostí., The aim of the study was to investigate and compare the extent of mental health (well-being, emotional balance, self-esteem and life events) of primary school pupils in terms of gender, type of school, grade and family type. The research was carried out at primary schools and an 8-grade grammar school in Zilina region. 406 pupils of 6th and 7th grades were surveyed. The average age of pupils was 12.4 years. The General Health Questionnaire (GHQ 12), the Affect Balance Scale (ABS), the Life Event Inventory (LEI) and the Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (SeS) were used in investigating the extent of mental health. The Demographic data sheet including age, gender, type of school, year/grade, family type, type of living, education of parents was created as a part of the research tools. Mann-Whitney and Chi-Square test were applied as our statistical methods. A comparison of the selected socio-demographic indicators showed significant differences. The girls reached significantly higher scores over boys in the General Health Questionnaire, in the Sub-Scale of Negative Emotions as well as in the Negative Life Event Inventory. The boys reached significantly higher scores in the Self-Esteem Scale and in the Emotional Balance Summary in comparison with the girls. The primary school pupils marked a significantly higher score in the Negative Life Event Inventory in comparison with peers in the 8-grade grammar school. The 8-grade grammar school pupils showed a significantly higher average scores in the Life Event Summary in comparison with primary school peers. The 6th grade pupils marked significantly higher average scores in the sub-scale of positive emotions, in the Emotional Balance Summary, in the Positive Life Event Inventory and in the Life Event Summary. The 7th grade pupils showed a significantly higher average score in The General Health Questionnaire. Pupils from complete families marked significantly higher average scores in the Positive Life Event Inventory and in the Life Event Summary.
