Článek shrnuje informace o kultovním areálu doby halštatské na vrchu Burkovák u Nemějic v jižních Čechách. Je věnován zejména analýze nalezených keramických zlomků a fragmentů hliněných plastik. Po kompletní revizi autoři vyčlenili 21 základních typů a několik dalších variant. Celkový počet dnes dochovaných plastik z Burkováku, včetně zlomků keramických nádob, je 1855. Většina z plastik představuje symboly slunce, části zápřahu, napodobeniny šperků nebo předmětů z organických látek. Některé motivy měly významné postavení i v náboženských představách předcházející doby popelnicových polí; keramické předměty z Burkováku prozrazují vazbu na symboly této epochy. Svým početním zastoupením je soubor plastik z Burkováku ve střední Evropě výjimečný, nejbližší paralely k lokalitě autoři shledávají u venetských svatyň v severových. Itálii. Aktivity v lokalitě lze datovat do Reineckových stupňů Ha C2-D2, příp. Ha D2/3. Závěr článku tvoří přehled dokladů soudobého osídlení v okolí Burkováku, které jsou zatím poměrně nečetné. and Ritual site from the Hallstatt Culture on Burkovák Hill near Nemějice. The article summarises information on a ritual site dating to the period of the Hallstatt culture and located on Burkovák Hill near Nemějice in Southern Bohemia. It focuses on the analysis of finds of ceramic fragments and fragments of clay sculptures. After a thorough examination of the finds, the authors identified 21 basic types and several additional varieties. The total number of extant sculptures from Burkovák to date, including the fragments of ceramic vessels, is 1855. The majority of the sculptures are symbols of the sun, parts of a yoke, and imitation jewellery or objects made of organic material. Some of the motifs held strong significance also in the religious beliefs of the preceding period of the Urnfield culture; the ceramic objects from Burkovák reveal a link to symbols from that period. The assemblage of sculptures from Burkovák is unique in Central Europe for its size, and the authors see the closest parallels to this site in the Venetian shrines in Northern Italy. Activity at this site can be dated to Reinecke’s schema periods Ha C2-D2, or perhaps Ha D2/3. The article closes with an overview of evidence of contemporary settlement in the area surrounding Burkovák, of which there is relatively little thus far.
V závěru je předložena hypotéza o funkci a významu jeskyně v pozdní době halštatské. and The Býčí skála cave in the Moravian Karst and the Hallstatt use of its Southern Prong. The Býčí skála cave, one of the best known Hallstatt sites in Moravia, was subjected to archaeological investigation from 1868 to 1942. While Předsíň [Anteroom] offered an exceptionally rich Late Hallstatt period finds situation, Jižní boční síň [Southern Prong], some 100 m from the entrance, has entered the broader consciousness as an important Upper Palaeolithic site. The reports on the pre-war investigations, however, indicate that the space of the southern side chamber also contained numerous post-Palaeolithic finds (human bones, animal bones, ceramics). This study discusses the extent and character of this prehistoric activity, and compares Býčí skála to similar sites regarded as burial caves. The conclusion presents a hypothesis as to the function and significance of the cave in the Late Hallstatt period.
Příspěvek navazuje na předchozí článek o nálezech z halštatského kultovního místa na vrchu Burkovák u Nemějic, z něhož mj. pochází i rozsáhlá kolekce keramických plastik. Cílem je prozkoumání povrchu těchto plastik z náhodně vybraného vzorku z hlediska paleodermatoglyfiky, jejich předběžné posouzení z hlediska fragmentace, vlastností keramické hmoty a stop na povrchu předmětů. and The contribution is linked to the preceding article on finds from the Hallstatt cultic area on the peak of Burkovák near Nemějice, from which an extensive collection of ceramic sculptures also comes. The aim of this contribution is the examination of the exterior of these sculptures from a paleodermatoglyphic perspective, and a preliminary assessment of these from the point of view of fragmentation, the properties of the ceramic material, and marks on the exterior of the objects.
