This study examines the life and performing artistry of the pianist Barbara Kozeluchova (1781-1821), daughter of Johann Anton Kozeluch (1738-1814), an important Prague composer and choir director at the Cathedral of St Vitus. On the basis of period reports in the Bohemian and foreign press, it also discusses her performances at the Estates Theatre.
