The PARSEME shared task aims at identifying verbal MWEs in running texts. Verbal MWEs include idioms (let the cat out of the bag), light verb constructions (make a decision), verb-particle constructions (give up), and inherently reflexive verbs (se suicider 'to suicide' in French). VMWEs were annotated according to the universal guidelines in 18 languages. The corpora are provided in the parsemetsv format, inspired by the CONLL-U format.
For most languages, paired files in the CONLL-U format - not necessarily using UD tagsets - containing parts of speech, lemmas, morphological features and/or syntactic dependencies are also provided. Depending on the language, the information comes from treebanks (e.g., Universal Dependencies) or from automatic parsers trained on treebanks (e.g., UDPipe).
This item contains training and test data, tools and the universal guidelines file.
This article deals with German constructions with es in the function of formal object, their structures and equivalents in Czech. It tries to relate German structures with formal object to their Czech equivalents by using the referential properties of the formal object occurring in the German structure. The research is based on parallel language data extracted from the Czech-German Corpora InterCorp and ČNPK. and Článek se zabývá německými konstrukcemi s es ve funkci formálního objektu, jejich strukturami a protějšky v češtině. Pokouší se najít vztahy mezi konkrétními strukturami s formálními objekty, mírou reference formálních objektů a výskytem českých protějšků es. Výzkum se opírá o autentická jazyková data vytěžená z česko-německých paralelních korpusů InterCorp a ČNPK.
ParaDi 2.0. is a dictionary of single verb paraphrases of Czech verbal multiword expressions - light verb constructions and idiomatic verb constructions. Moreover, it provides an elaborated set of morphological, syntactic and semantic features, including information on aspectual counterparts of verbs or paraphrasability conditions of given verbs.
The format of ParaDi has been designed with respect to both human and machine readability - the dictionary is represented as a plain table in TSV format, as it is a flexible and language-independent data format.
