This paper reflects on recent social housing developments in Romania. It understands social housing as rental social housing and affordable housing, a differentiation that is not made at the national level and introduces a sub-type of affordable housing, which is little documented in current research and is here termed ‘self-help affordable housing’. The paper looks at the legacy of socialist housing and social housing before and after the crisis. It makes an important claim that needs further investigation: current social housing provision in Romania overlooks the poorest households. This has implications for the country’s political leadership; the capacity for financial and institutional innovation; and wider strategies for policy integration.
The goal of this research is to examine the mediator role of coping competence on the relationship between mindfulness and subjective happiness. Participants were 292 undergraduates who completed a questionnaire package that inicluded the Cognitive and Affective Mindfulness Scale, the Coping Competence Questionnaire, and the Subjective happiness Scale. Findings demonstrated that both coping competence and subjective happiness were predicted positively by mindfulness. Subjective happiness was predicted positively by coping competence. Also coping competence mediated on the relationship between mindfulness and subjective happiness. Together, the findings illuminate the importance of mindfulness on psychological and cognitive adjustment. The results were discussed in the light of the related literature and dependent recommendations to the area were given., Ümran Akin, Ahmet Akin., and Obsahuje seznam literatury
During the International expedition of the research vessel Dmitry Mendeleyev three sectors of the Western Pacific Ocean were studied: Philippine Sea, Solomon Sea and Coral Sea. From these areas also the samples for the orientation were taken in order to do the mineralogical examination with them. Above all, X-ray diffraction technique was used beside the chemical analysis performed by electron microprobe analyzer. Quantitative evaluation of min eral components was carried out applying X-ray diffraction. Standardless technique based on the adiabatic principle enabled th e quantitative determination directly from the X-ray diffraction diagram. Generally, sheet silicates - above all smectite, chlorite, mica (illite) - play the leading role in the mineral composition of collected samples of muds taken from the ocean floor. Besi des, also minerals of terrigenous origin are present: quartz prevailing mostly over feldspars (plagioclase > K-feldspar). Amphiboles and pyroxenes occured, but not everywhere. Carbonate minerals (calcite >> aragonite) were found only in samples from Coral Sea., Karel Melka, Ferry Fediuk and Anna Langrová., and Obsahuje bibliografické odkazy
Having explained existing differences in imderstanding the term of "stress", a brief OverView of historical development of studies on relationships between the minerál nutrition and photosynthesis is given. Effects of minerál nutrients on photosynthesis are illustrated mainly with results obtained firom nitrogen-deficient plants. Changes in photosynthesis brought about by phosphorus deficiency háve also been described in detail. Recent papers on the effects of other minerál nutrients háve been included too. It has been emphasized that (7) minerál nutrients affect the photosynthesis at all levels of plant structure, (2) the photosynthesis has considerable influence on minerál nutrients uptake, distribution and utilization, (3) the photosynthesis should always be considered as only one factor among many others that are modifíed by changes of the minerál nutrition.
