A novel method called Generalized Average of Signals (GAS) for detection of very weak waves in seismograms is describe d and tested. The general principle of the GAS method is to take advantage of the cohe rency of the signal, which is extracted. The signals are shaped with moving window and converted to the frequency domain. Then they are non-linearly summed considering their complex representation (a mplitudes and phases). The method impr oves signal-to-noise ratio of coherent seismograms considerably. In many recent articles, medians have been used as a replacement of integral averages when the function fails to be locally integrable. A point x in a metric measure space (X,d,μ) is called a generalized Lebesgue point of a measurable function f if the medians of f over the balls B(x,r) converge to f(x) when r converges to 0. We know that almost every point of a measurable, almost everywhere finite function is a generalized Lebesgue point and the same is true for every point of a continuous function. We study classifying problems of real hypersurfaces in a complex two-plane Grassmannian G_{2} (\mathbb{C}^{m+2}). In relation to the generalized Tanaka-Webster connection, we consider that the generalized Tanaka-Webster derivative of the normal Jacobi operator coincides with the covariant derivative. V článku jsou popsány aktivity jedné skupiny oddělení impulzních plastových systémů (IPS) Ústavu fyziky plazmatu AV ČR, v. v. i., zaměřené na generaci EUV, resp. měkkého rtg. záření silnoproudými impulzními výboji. Je popsán Ar8+ laser pracující na vlnové délce 46,88 nm, jehož Ne podobné ionty jsou generovány pinčujícím kapilárním výbojem. Jeho záření je multivrstvým sférickým zrcadlem fokusováno na terč a zkoumá se čistá kvantová ablace pevných látek, která není doprovázena tepelnými účinky. Dále jsou zkoumány způsoby generace záření s kratší vlnovou délkou: je to jednak kapilára plněná dusíkem, která může zesilovat čáru Balmer-alfa přechodu vodíku podobného iontu dusíku 13,4 nm, jednak explodující Ag drátek ve vodě, který v ní vytvořil "kapiláru s kapalnými stěnami" naplněnou parami Ag, jehož Ni podobné ionty mohou zesilovat záření o vlnové délce 14 nm., Karel Koláček, Jiří Schmidt, Václav Prukner, Jaroslav Štraus, Oleksandr Frolov., and Obsahuje bibliografii
Článok sa zaoberá problematikou použitia generátorov pseudonáhodných čísiel v numerických metódach štatistickej fyziky. Na začiatku stručne oboznamuje s históriou metód Monte Carlo. Ďalej obsahuje popis jednoduchého algoritmu, ktorý pomocou náhodných čísiel vypočítá Ludolfovo číslo. The genetic basis of stomatal conductance (gs), net photosynthetic rate (PN), and transpiration rate (E) was explored by using a wheat doubled haploid population from a cross of Hanxuan10 and Lumai 14. The above three traits were evaluated in wheat flag leaves at 10, 20, 30 days after anthesis under drought stress (DS) and well-watered (WW), and quantitative trait loci (QTL) were analyzed. Expression of the traits during the grain filling stage showed downward trends under both conditions, but expression of three phenotypes were stronger under WW than those under DS. Extremely significant positive correlations were established among the traits at all growth stages under both conditions. A total of 18 additive QTLs for those traits were identified on 10 chromosomes. Among them, two batches of nine additive QTLs were associated with the target traits under DS and WW, respectively. Two additive QTLs for gs and E, two for gs and PN, six for gs, PN, and E clustered at the same or near the region (colocation) of chromosomes 4A, 2B, and 7B, respectively. This provided genetic basis for close phenotype correlations among gs, PN, and E. Furthermore, QTLs for gs, PN, and E near Xgwm577 and Xgwm611 located on 7B chromosome were linked to previously reported QTLs regulating a SPAD value and the chlorophyll a/b ratio under dark-induced condition.
