- Description:
- This review study analyses Martin Nitsche’s monograph devoted to Heidegger’s Contributions to philosophy (Beiträge zur Philosophie), primarily addressing the question of whether Nitsche succeeds in displaying the phenomenological character of the Contributions. It identifies a key step in Nitsche’s interpretation; that is, Heidegger’s shift from emphasising the specific entity of Dasein to emphasising the distinctive “phenomenological” or “relational field”, which is understood as an “ontological locality”. The study focuses on the question of whether it is possible, subsequent to this shift, to preserve the phenomenological character of (Heidegger’s) thought, and it arrives at a negative conclusion in this regard: Heidegger does not offer a phenomenological description - nay, he presents a conceptual, or perhaps even narrative, structure, in which he lays claim to the possibility of speaking from a principled position of (the experienced) “enowning”., Martin Ritter., and Obsahuje poznámky a bibliografii

5. Heidegger a Hegel
- Creator:
- Bednář, Miloslav
- Type:
- article, model:article, and TEXT
- Subject:
- Hegel, Heidegger, beginning, and absolute idea
- Language:
- Czech
- Description:
- The author investigates the parallel conceptions of the overall philosophical goal of M. Heidegger and G. W. F. Hegel. He is of the opinion that the main parallel in the philosophical work of these two thinkers is evident when we compare Heidegger’s conception of the first and second beginning of the history of being with Hegel’s historical scheme of the two phases of the return of the absolute idea to itself. Hegel’s moment of one’s own fully-conscious self-understanding determining the mediation of oneself, and thus overcoming one’s own externality is revealed to be the foreshadowing counterpart of Heidegger’s conception of the overcoming of the first beginning. This overcoming, which Heidegger calls a second beginning, is the overcoming of a movement that substitutes being with the highest being. Heidegger takes the first beginning of the history of being as its necessary initial movement, and only thus can being become aware of itself as the mediating movement of the historical possibility of the second beginning. Hegel’s and Heidegger’s thought are thus revealed to follow analogical and parallel paths in expressing the ultimate conceptions of philosophical thought of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

6. Heideggerův výklad experimentálního charakteru novověké vědy

- Language:

- Description:
- Martin Heidegger (1889 –1976) svým poukázáním na mathématický charakter novověké vědy vyostřil rozbor její bytnosti prostřednictvím výkladu klíčové části její metody, jež podle něj spočívá v "souvislosti hypo-téza-experiment“. V Heideggerově výkladu experimentální charakter novověké vědy znamená předchůdný metafyzický akt logického stanovení obecného porozumění významu "jsoucna“. Heidegger tedy analyzuje čtyři stupně konceptu "zakoušení“, jenž rozlišuje moderní vědu ode všech starších pojetí "vědy“. Ovšem vše, čeho chce Heidegger dosáhnout, je jasné nahlédnutí do podstaty časového charakteru "existence“., While showing the mathéma-character of modern science, Martin Heidegger (1889–1976) sharpens his analysis of its essence by interpreting the key part of its method, which he claims to consist of the “hypothesis-experiment complex”. In Heidegger’s interpretation, the experimental feature of modern science means the former metaphysical act of logical prescription for the general understanding of the meaning of “being”. Thus, Heidegger analyses the fourfold concept of “experience”, which distinguishes the modern science from all the older conceptions of “science”. Nevertheless, all what Heidegger ultimately tries to achieve, is to gain a clear insight into the essence of the temporal character of “being”., and Aleš Novák.

7. Heideggerův výklad pojmu mathéma a mathématického charakteru novověké vědy

- Description:
Heideggerovým cílem je ukázat, že mathématický charakter moderní vědy rozhoduje o obecném chápání významu "bytí“ a že moderní věda nahrazuje metafyziku, v níž tkví její původ., In the mid of 1930s Martin Heidegger attempted to explain the “history of Being” leading to what he called “the oblivion of Being". In this he focused on the impact of modern science, which he grants to be a sort of metaphysics. According to Heidegger, the main feature of the modern science consists in what he calls the mathéma -character. Th e Greek word “to mathéma” means “that what can be learned” and “what must be know beforehand.” It is Heidegger’s intention to show that the mathéma-character of modern science is deciding about the general understanding of the meaning of “being” and that modern science is replacing the metaphysics, which is the origin of the modern science., and Aleš Novák.

8. Metodická priorita fenomenologického pole v transformativní fenomenologii

- Subject:

- Language:

- Description:
- This study takes the form of a response to Martin Ritter’s review article on my book From enowning. A phenomenological interpretation of Heidegger’s “Contributions to Philosophy” (Beiträge zur Philosophie). In its subject-matter it focuses on the key points of Ritter’s critique: on the theme of the phenomenological field and the related methodological priority of intentionality, on the status of the centre, and briefly also on the reduction of historicity in my interpretation of Heidegger. This study, when taken as a whole, is not meant as a dispute over a particular book, but as a discussion of the nature of phenomenology and of the scope of the phenomenological method to which Heidegger leads us in his Contributions to Philosophy (Beiträge zur Philosophie). The account concentrates on the theme of the methodological opening-up of the phenomenological field, and on the possibility of its topological interpretation. The opening-up of the phenomenological field is, at the same time, interpreted as the determining feature of phenomenological philosophy and the common element in Husserl’s and Heidegger’s use of the phenomenological method., Martin Nitsche., and Obsahuje poznámky a bibliografii

- Subject:
- Levinas, Husserl, Heidegger, Existentialism, and Truth
- Language:

- Description:
- The author attempts to explore the status of truth in the works of Levinas. This analy-sis first requires a preparatory study of the status of truth in the works of Husserl and Heidegger. On the basis of these deliberations, the text then elaborates the Levinasian concept of truth with a reference to Totality and Infinity, as well as Otherwise than Being or Beyond Essence.
