- The author compares the different position of colloquial speech I (hovorová čeština, russkaja razgovornaja reč’) orientated at the standard (high variety) and of the non-standard colloquial speech 2 (obecná čeština, gorodskoje prostorečije) in Czech and Russian language. For both situations of speech social-cultural explanations are suggested which also consider the gender perspective. The weak position of colloquial speech 1 in Czech language situation as opposed to Russian language situation has its cause not only in the weak status or absence of the historical elite (aristocracy, burgeoisie of both sexes) in the 19th century, but also in the remote female contribution to familiarization of the high-variety connected therewith and in the specific mental modeli born by this constellation according to which the semiosis of social differences - even those, represented by the habitus of communication - should be avoided or minimalized. The differences of the female contribution to the development of colloquial speech varieties in different societies have its reason in different educational standards of „social complet“ or „incomplet“ societies. These differences are fundamental in respect to the development of the diglossie situations. Only under the elite of a „socially complete“ community including both sexes a conversational centered education and the development of polyfunctional speech variety can be verified. The comparison proofs that the different communicativ presence of women in society caused by the respective and specific social constellations is significantly relevant for the familiarization or the non-familiarization of elaborated speech.
