The effect of the low temperature acclimation and photoinhibitory treatment on photosystem 2 (PS 2) of the cold-unhardened and -hardened spinách leaves were studied by thermoluminescence emission. Acclimation as well as photoinhibition at 4 °C rose inactive PS 2 reaction centres which did not produce thermoluminescence.
Differences in the occurrence of monogeneans on lamellae of fish gill arches were observed in this study. These differences were attributed to variations in water current on the gill surfaces or to greater area of certain arches. Two computer simulation programs based on gill area and water current were written to generate parasite melapopulations with clumped patterns. The results obtained were compared with true distributions of selected freshwater monogenean taxa. The combination of both theoretical models (gill area and water current) had greater explanatory power than either of the models alone.

Models of stellar atmospheres are based on assumption of their plane-parallel or spherical symmetry. Violation of this assumption by tides and rotation in close binaries leads to incompatibility of hydrostatic and radiative equilibria. Improvement of model atmospheres in this respect is desirable for simulation of light curves and line profile changes. Moreover, atmospheres of
contact components of interacting binaries determine initiai conditions of dynamics of gaseous streams and in this way influence the behaviour of the binary system.
L´article passe en revue les reformes de la langue lusacienne à partir d´une grande codification haute sorabe en 1948. Elle et celle basse sorabe der 1952 furent provoquées par le besoin de rapprocher les deux variantes littéraires et c´était un régime rigide qui facilita leur réalisation. Il n´est pas exact d´appeler ces modifications orthographiques, parce qu´elles, en majorité, partent du plan phonologique. Depuis les années cinquante des prescriptions grammaticales basses sorabes apparaissent moins stable que celles en Haute-Lusace. La sensibilité de la codification devient d´autant plus importante que beacoup de Sorabes sont réduits à apprendre leur langue natale à l´aide de manuels.
The paper gives a brief overview of computational methods used in the Institute of Scientific Instruments of AS CR for the design of electron optical devices. The possibilities of the software are then illustrated on the computations of correctors of spherical aberration for transmission and scanning electron microscopes.
