Kvalita ţivota je ovlivněna zdravotním stavem, který zahrnuje fyzické, psychické a sociální charakteristiky. Největším zdravotním, ale i společenským problémem současné epochy nejsou nemoci akutní, ale nemoci dlouhodobé, chronické a trvalé. Výzkum se zaměřuje na oblast sexuality u pacientů s hypertenzí, s důrazem na holistické pojetí lidské osobnosti, hlubší vnímání a proţívání sexuálního ţivota, sexuálních potřeb pacientů. Cíl: Cílem kvalitativního šetření bylo zjistit, zda léčba hypertenze ovlivňuje sexuální potřeby pacientů. Metodika: Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 20 respondentů, výběr zkoumaného vzorku byl záměrný, byli to pacienti, kteří se léčili pro hypertenzi minimálně 1 rok ve Fakultní nemocnici Ostrava. Výzkum byl proveden pomocí kvalitativní metody, sběr dat byl proveden rozhovorem, který byl nahráván na diktafon v příjemném, nerušeném prostředí. Ve výzkumu byla pouţita metoda barvení textu s definovanými 4 kategoriemi a podkategoriemi. Výsledky: Z analýzy rozhovorů vyplynulo, ţe u některých pacientů antihypertenzní terapie negativně ovlivnila jejich sexuální potřeby. Byl zjištěn výskyt sexuálních dysfunkcí, u ţen se jednalo o sníţený sexuální apetit, sníţenou lubrikační schopnost, delší interval k vyvrcholení a u muţe byl objeven problém s erekcí. Závěr: V rámci subjektivní spokojenosti s vlastní sexualitou u pacientů, kteří se léčí s arteriální hypertenzí je důleţitá znalost vedlejších účinků a následná edukace s vyuţitím výsledků vědeckých studií domácích i zahraničních odborníků., The quality of life is influenced by health condition, which include physical, psychological and social features. The biggest, not only medical but also social problem nowadays are not acute diseases but long-term diseases, chronical and permanent. The research is concentrated on the sphere of sexuality among patients with hypertension, with stress on holistic concept of human being, deeper perception and experiencing of sexual life and sexual needs of patients. Aim: The aim of qualitative research was to find out how the treatment of hypertension influences sexual needs of patients. Methods: Researched sample was formed by 20 respondents. The choice of researched sample was intentional. They were patients who were treated for hypertension minimally one year in University Hospital Ostrava. The research was done by qualitative method, collection of datas was done by interview, which was recorded on voice recorder in a pleasant, by nothing disturbed place. In the research was used method of coloring the text with 4 defined categories and subcathegories. Results: From the analysis of interviews was clear that at some patients antihypertension therapy influenced their sexual needs in a negative way. There was found out the occurrence of sexual dysfunctions. Among women it was lower sexual appetite, lower lubricative ability, longer time for climax and among men was found the problem with erection. Cíl: Cílem studie bylo vyhledat poznatky týkající se NANDA International ošetřovatelské diagnózy Porucha polykání (00103) se zaměřením na výskyt této ošetřovatelské diagnózy u různých skupin pacientů a její stanovení prostřednictvím znaků uvedených v klasifikačním systému dle NANDA International. Metodika: Senzitivní vyhledávací strategií byly vyhledány publikované informace k ošetřovatelské diagnóze dle NANDA International Porucha polykání (00103), k jejímu diagnostikování a k výskytu této diagnózy u pacientů. K vyhledání relevantních dat byly využity elektronické databáze: Bibliographia Medica Čechoslovaca, MEDLINE, Springer, ProQuest a vyhledávač Google. Výsledky: V odborných publikacích se autoři velmi často věnují problematice porušeného polykání a jejímu diagnostikování, nikoli však pomocí ošetřovatelské diagnostiky dle NANDA International. Ošetřovatelská diagnóza Porucha polykání (00103), diagnostikována prostřednictvím ošetřovatelské diagnostiky dle NANDA International, se vyskytovala ve velkém zastoupení u pacientů na jednotkách intenzivní péče, u pacientů s onkologickým onemocněním a u pacientů s onemocněním jícnu. Závěr: V ošetřovatelství je porucha polykání častým problémem, který lze diagnostikovat prostřednictvím klasifikačního systému NANDA International. Další výzkumy by mohly přispět ke zjištění, zda diagnostika poruchy polykání pomocí NANDA International je vhodná pro použití v klinické praxi., Aim: The aim of the study was to search for findings related to NANDA International nursing diagnosis Impaired Swallowing (00103), focusing on the incidence of this nursing diagnosis in different groups of patients and its establishment using the NANDA International classification system. Methods: Published information concerning NANDA International nursing diagnosis Impaired Swallowing (00103), its establishment and incidence in patients were found by a sensitive search strategy. The following electronic databases were searched for relevant information: Bibliographia Medica Čechoslovaca, MEDLINE, Springer and ProQuest, together with Google. Results: Although paper authors frequently mention impaired swallowing, it is rarely diagnosed using the NANDA International classification system. Nursing diagnosis Impaired Swallowing (00103) as diagnosed according to NANDA International was largely present in intensive care unit patients, oncology patients and those with oesophageal disease. Conclusion: Impaired swallowing is a frequent condition in nursing which can be diagnosed using the NANDA International classification system. Úvod: Zhoršení výživy u seniorů, bývá popisováno ve spojitosti s institucionální péčí. Jako vhodný nástroj pro posouzení stavu výživy se jeví Škála pro hodnocení stavu výživy – MNA. Cíl výzkumu: Zjistit stav výživy u seniorů ve vybraných institucích prostřednictvím Škály pro hodnocení stavu výživy – MNA a následně analyzovat hodnoty Body mass index (BMI) u sledované populace. Metodika: Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 200 osob ve věku nad 60 let v institucionální péči. Statistické testy byly hodnoceny na hladině významnosti 5 %. Výsledky: Z 200 seniorů v institucionální péči dle Škály pro hodnocení stavu výživy (MNA) bylo ve stavu dobré výživy 32 %, rizikem podvýživy bylo ohroženo 38 % seniorů a podvýživou trpělo 30 %. Byl zjištěn statisticky významný rozdíl ve stavu výživy v závislosti na druhu instituce (p=0,001). Byl zjištěn statisticky významný rozdíl mezi sledovanými institucemi v hodnotách BMI (p=0,0084). Hodnoty BMI vyšší než 23 byly u 65 % seniorů, hodnoty BMI nižší než 19 byly u 16 % seniorů. Závěr: Z výsledku studie vyplývá, že pouze jedna třetina seniorů byla ve stavu dobré výživy, což vede k nutnosti včasné detekce stavu výživy prostřednictvím MNA., Introduction: Nutritional disorders in the elderly are described in relation to institutional care. Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) was used for assessing nutritional status. Objective: To assess the nutritional status of the elderly in selected institutions through Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) and to analyze the Body Mass Index (BMI) of the studied population. Methods: The research sample consisted of 200 people aged over 60 years in institutional care. Statistical tests were evaluated at a significance level of 5%. Results: Of the 200 seniors in institutional care according to MNA, 32% were in good nutrition condition, 38% of respondents were at risk of malnutrition and 30% of seniors suffered from malnutrition. A statistically significant difference in nutritional status was revealed depending on the type of institution (p=0.001) and a statistically significant difference between the observed values of institutions in terms of BMI (p=0.0084). Values of BMI in excess of 23 were identified in 65% of the elderly, values of BMI below 19 were found in 16% of elderly. Conclusion: The results show that only one third of the elderly were in good nutritional status. Neexistuje jedna obecná defi nice seniorské křehkosti. Někteří autoři ji popisují jako symptom, jiní jako komplexní syndrom, nebo jako nahromadění funkčních defi citů u seniora. Dle odborných publikací se křehkost vyskytuje až u 25 procent seniorů (Holmerová, 2007, s. 100). Rozvoj seniorské křehkosti může být mimo jiné podmíněn multimorbiditou, nežádoucími účinky léků, pohybovou inaktivitou, malnutricí, osamělostí či depresí (Kalvach, 2008, s. 122). Cílem práce bylo vyhledání a analýza odborných zahraničních článků týkající se křehkosti seniorů a následně získané poznatky využít v diagnostice NANDA International. Pro získání relevantních dat byly využity elektronické databáze Pubmed, Medline, ProQuest a Springer a vyhledávač Google. Byla využita specifi cká vyhledávací strategie. Na základě diagnostického algoritmu dle NANDA International byly identifi kovány diagnostické prvky a stanoveny ošetřovatelské diagnózy. Ošetřovatelská diagnostika dle NANDA International se jeví jako vhodná při poskytování ošetřovatelské péče u křehkých seniorů., There is no general definition of frailty in the elderly. Some authors describe it as a symptom, others as a complex syndrome, or as an accumulation of functional defi cits in older adults. According to professional publications, frailty occurs in up to 25 percent of the elderly (Holmerová, 2007, p. 100). Developing of frailty in older adults may be subject to multimorbidity, undesired eff ects of medication, physical inactivity, malnutrition, loneliness or depression (Kalvach, 2008, p. 122). The aim of the article is to search for and analyse foreign scientifi c articles related to frailty in the elderly and to use gained knowledge in NANDA International diagnostics. To obtain the relevant data, electronic databases Pubmed, Medline, ProQuest, Springer and Google were used. Published articles concerning frailty in the elderly were found by a specifi c search strategy. Diagnostic elements were identifi ed and nursing diagnoses were determined according to the diagnostic algorithm by NANDA International.
