a1_In cooperation with AIUB (Astronomical Institute University of Berne), GOP (Geodetic Observatory Pecný) and IGN (Institut Géographique National), DORIS data analysis capabilities were implemented into the development version 5.0 of the Bernese GPS Software. The DORIS observables are reformulated that they are similar to GNSS carrier phase observations as much as possible allowing the use of the same observation models and algorithms as for GNSS carrier phase data analysis with only minor modifications. Evolution of DORIS data analysis using Bernese GPS Software is presented from the pilot campaign (September 2004) to the automatic processing of multi-year data time-series. The station and pole coordinates were estimated within the free-network approach and the long time-series of weekly estimated parameters are presented (1993.0- 2009.0) and analyzed. The RMS of the estimated polar coordinates significantly decreased after 2002, when the second generation of DORIS satellites was launched. A significant improvement has been achieved by processing the data from the new satellites (SPOT-5 and Envisat) launched in 2002. The RMS in 2003-2009.0 shows the decreasing trend and reached values close to 0.4 mas in both coordinates (2007-2008). Behavior of the terrestrial reference frame scale was quite stable with a few exceptions. Analysis of the major scale shift at the end of 2004 revealed the SPOT-5 and Envisat satellites as the source of the problem. On the other hand, the termination of the TOPEX/Poseidon DORIS data processing at the end of 2004 did not influence significantly the overall scale level. Another goal of the paper is a detail analysis of relations between the value of the observation residuals and the length of the observation time-interval. A simple empirical model considering the observation noise as a sum of the constant and time-dependent terms is applied and discussed., a2_A significant DORIS-GNSS ZTD bias as well as station height bias have been detected in the case of the SPOT-5 data for South America stations Santiago, Cachoiera Paulista, and Arequipa. The aim of this study was to examine the influence of unilateral dorsal root section at the cervicothoracic level of the spinal cord on the spontaneous neuronal activity of medial thalamic nuclei in the rat. Single unit extracellular recordings from thalamic nuclei, nc. parafascicularis and nc. centralis lateralis, were obtained with glass micropipettes. The abnormal bursting activity of these nuclei following deafferentation was registered, although a correlation between the occurrence of this activity and the degree of autotomy behavior was not found. Womanhood has different meanings. It is true in the context of almost every culture and society. In Sudan a woman´s life is divided into a number of stages characterized by special roles and status. It is structured hierarchically by kinship and age. The article focuses on the second factor. It indicates the range of activities and the broad networks of alliances that are available for a middle-aged woman. It shows dominant position of older woman in traditional social structure, which is still much preserved in rural life of Northern Sudan. The articled is mostly based on fieldwork materials collected in North Sudanese village of ed Ghaddar in 2010.

Cíle. Cílem studie bylo ověřit psychometrické charakteristiky českých verzí Dotazníku sebereflexe a vhledu (SRIS) a Filadelfské škály všímavosti (PHLMS). Soubor a postup. Dotazníky byly prezentovány reprezentativnímu souboru české populace (N=1000) vytvořenému kvótním výběrem. Kvótními znaky byly pohlaví, věk, vzdělání, velikost obce, kraj. Pro ověření konvergentní validity dotazníku byl použit Dotazník empatie (DE14) a krátká verze Big Five Inventory (BFI-10). Statistické analýzy. Faktorová struktura nástrojů byla ověřována konfirmační faktorovou analýzou. Pro výpočet reliability byly použity Cronbachův koeficient α a McDonaldův koeficient ωT. Korelace mezi proměnnými byly zjišťovány Pearsonovým korelačním koeficientem. Vztahy dotazníků se sociodemografickými faktory byly zjišťovány vícerozměrnou analýzou rozptylu (MANOVA), t-testy, jednocestnou analýzou rozptylu ANOVA a korelační analýzou. Výsledky. Výsledky české verze PHLMS vykázaly dobrou shodu s dvoufaktorovou strukturou originálního nástroje. V případě české verze SRIS přikročili autoři k redukci položek, aby bylo dosaženo dobré shody, a tím i srovnatelnosti s dvoufaktorovou podobou původního nástroje. Oba dotazníky vykázaly vysokou reliabilitu. Limity studie. Ověření validity dotazníku se omezilo na vzájemné vztahy mezi škálami a korelace s Dotazníkem empatie a s neuroticismem (BFI-10). Chybí ověření vztahů s dalšími faktory osobnostní struktury. and Objectives. The aim of this study was to assess psychometric properties of two questionnaires: Self-Reflection and Insight Scale (SRIS) and Philadelphia Mindfulness Scale (PHLMS). Sample and setting. Questionnaires were administered to a representative sample (N=1000) of the Czech population by stratified selection. Statistical analysis. Factor structure was tested by confirmatory factor analysis. Bootstrapped evaluation of two-factor solution using exploratory factor analysis was performed. Relationships of the scores with sociodemographic variables were tested using MANOVAs and follow up t-tests, one-way ANOVAs or correlations. The reliability was tested using Cronbach’s α and McDonald’s ωT. Convergent and divergent validity were analyzed with respect to the Empathy questionnaire (DE14), and short form of Big Five Inventory (BFI-10). Results. PHLMS showed good resemblance with original two-factor solution, while in the case of SRIS, the number of items was reduced to obtain good fit with the original two-factor solution. Both questionnaires showed high reliability and validity. Study limitation. The validity of questionnaires was limited to the relationship between the scales, relationship to the Empathy questionnaire, and neuroticism (BFI-10). Adding additional proofs of validity would strengthen the study.
