Výsledky: Za hlavné defi nujúce charakteristiky boli označené: „slovné vyjadrenie problému“ a „chybné, nepresné dodržiavanie inštrukcií“. Za vedľajšie defi nujúce charakteristiky boli označené: „chybné, nepresné výsledky testu“ a „neprimerané správanie“. Charakteristika „prehnané správanie“ dosiahla vážené skóre menej ako 0,5. Záver: Nie všetky defi nujúce charakteristiky ošetrovateľskej diagnózy Defi cit vedomostí uvedené v klasifi kačnom systéme NANDA-International sú pre vybraný súbor sestier rovnako významné pre jej stanovenie., Aim: The aim of the study was to validate the nursing diagnosis Deficient Knowledge by a chosen sample of Slovak nurses – experts, i. e. to find out which defining characteristics are considered major and minor. Methods: The Fehring’s Diagnostic Content Validity Model was used to evaluate the defi ning characteristics of nursing diagnosis Deficient Knowledge. Results: Th e following defi ning characteristics were marked as major: “verbalization of the problem”, “inaccurate compliance with instructions”. The following characteristics were marked as minor: “poor and inaccurate performance in a test” and “inappropriate behaviour”. The defining characteristic “exaggerated behaviour” had the weighted ratio less than 0.5. Conclusion: Not all defining characteristics of nursing diagnosis Deficient Knowledge found in NANDA-International classification system are equally significant for chosen sample of Slovak nurses to determine this nursing diagnosis., Renáta Zeleníková, Katarína Žiaková, and Literatura 16
Po celkovém zhodnocení výsledků se nám pro vyšetření fyzické zdatnosti v rámci primárně preventivního vyšetření u běžné populace s průměrnou, ale i mírně nadprůměrnou fyzickou zdatností jako vhodnější jeví stupňovaný zátěžový test na BE do maxima., The aim of this pilot study was to compare the results of two commonly used indirect methods of assessing maximum oxygen uptake (VO2max estimation) and to assess the applicability of these two methods for physical fitness assessment of an individual as part of primary preventive examination. For this comparison we selected the Cooper run/walk test (CT 12) on a treadmill and an incremental maximum test on a bicycle ergometer (BE). Our results showed significantly lower VO2max estimations gained from CT 12 on a treadmill in comparison to incremental maximum testing on a BE in the population groups examined. In total the results were lower by about 8.6% on average (p<0.001). The differences varied in the groups according to how trained the subjects were and according to the prevailing type of their physical activity. The highest differences between the two tests appeared in the group of cyclists (-12.0%), medical students (-10.9%) and in the group of subjects without a preferred type of physical activity. In these groups the differences were also statistically significant (p<0.01). They were less substantial in the group of runners (-4.6%, statistically insignificant), and in the group of triathletes there were practically no differences. This suggests that a CT 12 on a treadmill is much more susceptible to influences such as training experience, prevailing type of physical activity and motivation compared with an incremental maximum test on a BE. Evaluation of results leads us to consider incremental maximal testing on a BE a more suitable tool for assessing physical fitness in the averagely trained and slightly above-averagely trained population., Pavel Řimák, Jindřich Fiala, Šárka Kunzová, Petr Kaňovský, and Literatura 20
Obsahoval 10 definujúcich charakteristík ošetrovateľskej diagnózy, 4 položky z nástroja MMSE (Folsteinov test, Mini-Mental State Examination) a 2 neutrálne položky. Súbor expertov tvorilo 94 českých a 154 slovenských sestier. Výsledky: Za hlavné definujúce charakteristiky (vážené skóre, VS viac ako 0,75) považovali experti tie, ktoré súvisia s jednotlivými fázami pamäti (recepcia, retencia, reprodukcia). V českom a slovenskom súbore expertov boli výsledky rovnaké a sú porovnateľné so zisteniami iných autorov. Určitý podiel zohralo zloženie samotného súboru expertov, ktorý naplnil iba spodnú hranicu kritérií na experta (6 bodov) a absencia štandardizovanej ošetrovateľskej terminológie v Českej a Slovenskej republike., Aim: The aim of this study (supported by project Slovak Research and Development Agency, SRDA) was to examine the content validity of nursing diagnosis Impaired Memory and to identify the defining characteristics in Czech and Slovak clinical practice. Methodology: Fehring’s Diagnostic Content Validity Model was used. Experts were nurses who achieve minimally the total number of 4 points according to modified Fehring’s criteria. Experts measured importance of diagnostic characteristics of Impaired Memory in validation form. It contained 10 defining characteristics of nursing diagnosis, 2 neutral characteristics and 4 items from MMSE (Mini-Mental State Examination) tool. Respondents were 94 Czech and 154 Slovak nurses. Results: Experts identically considered as main defining characteristics (weighted score more than 0,75), which consistent with memory phases (encoding, storage, retrieval). In Czech and Slovak data of respondents were results almost identical and are comparable with results another authors. Conclusion: Experts didn’t consider all defining characteristics as uniformly important, similarly as another SRDA studies. Particular influence had composite of respondents which had only minimal level of criteria for expert (6 points) and absence of standardize nursing terminology in Czech and Slovak Republic., Martina Tomagová, Ivana Bóriková, and Literatura
