Příspěvek prezentuje výsledky výzkumu, jehož cílem bylo podrobné mapování vnitřního světa myšlení a prožívání depresivních jedinců. Cílem byla snaha odhalit společné prvky, které by lépe pomohly poznat strukturu prožívání „depresivního modu života“. Výzkum proběhl v Psychiatrickém centru Praha se čtyřmi respondenty. Za pomoci metody zakotvené teorie a diskurzivní analýzy byl odhalen specifický způsob depresivního myšlení a prožívání self a vnějšího světa. Depresivní jedinci projevují deficit ve schopnosti introspekce. Nevnímají sami sebe jako autory vlastních životů. Smysl svých životů vkládají do externích odcizených cílů. Kombinace těchto atributů byla shledána jako možná psychogenní příčina deprese. Výsledky výzkumu jsou srovnávány s koncepcí morálního masochismu E. Fromma a energetického modelu libida C. G. Junga, které se navzájem doplňují a rozvíjejí nalezené poznatky., This study aims to explore the inner world of people suffering from depression. The main goal lied an attempt to explore a structure of „depressive mode of life“ in a way it is experienced by depressive individuals. Four people hospitalized in Prague Psychiatric Centre were interviewed. Methods of Grounded theory and discursive analysis revealed specific features common for „depressive way of thinking“. Results of the study showed that depressive individuals manifest deficit in introspection. They do not perceive themselves as the authors of their lives and they manifest a tendency to look for external and estranged meanings of life. Combination of these attributes was found to be possible psychological cause leading towards the outburst of depressive disorder. Research results were found to be similar with E. Fromm´s concept of moral masochism and C.G. Jung´s energetic model of libido. Both models were created by the authors to explain dynamics of depression., and Magda Bartošková, Vladimír Chrz
In this paper a longitudinal study is presented of age-dependent speech acoustic characteristics from the utterances of Czech actresses, acquired from movie databases recorded in the years from 1985 to 2014. The age dependence of phonation is analyzed using the parameters fundame ntal frequency, jitter, and shimmer. For assessment of articulation, the formant-based voice area index of vocals and the length of the burst from apalatal stop consonant isused. For prosody, no characteristics were found that were applicable to the analysis of film archives. The results of age dependencies described by the phonetic categories are consistent with the assumptions and conclusions presented in the literature. This pilot project also confirms the possibility of creating valuable studies from publicly available sources., Roman Čmejla, Jarmila Behenská, Tereza Tykalová, Jan Rusz, and Literatura
Background: In evidence-based education, experts are supposed to possess skills and content knowledge. Scientific skills provide the tools and ways of thinking that enable researches to build the robust conceptual frameworks needed to gain expertise. Science education should not only provide broad content knowledge base but also develop analytical thinking, understanding of scientific research processes, and inspire curiosity of researchers. Objectives: is paper discusses the key results of subjective evaluation of attained outcomes of a 2,5-year project focused on enhancing research competences in a faculty of health sciences. Methods: e data was gathered from project members by four consequent semi-structured online questionnaires. Total number of respondents was 78 (N = 78) with 75% response rate. e data was analysed by a summative content analysis combining quantitative and qualitative analyses. Results: e findings present evident progress in personal achievements, team working, and scientific practice in the faculty. Based on identified needs the concrete measures supported learning and lead to enhancement in the target group’s research competences. Conclusions: Capacity building approach was successful in laying a robust foundation for consistent development in research-based practice both in academic and professional levels. Further research should be conducted on the long-term impacts of the project in the faculty. and Andrew Sirkka, Juraj Čáp
