We have analyzed human resources in healthcare of Kazakhstan over 19852011, and determined general trends and regularities. By the level of provision with physicians, Kazakhstan ranks as one of the leaders in the world, at the same time there have been a deficit of physicians in the Republic over the last 20 years, particularly in rural areas. As per its regions, there is an irregularity in the physicians provision rate: the most part of specialists is concentrated in cities Almaty and Astana, there is a deficit of physicians in the Almaty, Коstanai, NorthKazakhstan and Jambyl Oblasts. The aim of the study was to establish the frequency of hypovitaminosis D in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D), its influence on biochemical and densitometric parameters and the relation to diabetic nephropathy. 58 children with T1D at the age 9–19 years were enrolled to the study. Vitamin D concentration less than 30 ng/ml was considered as insufficient. 37 children (63.79%) had vitamin D level under 30 ng/ml, from these 19 subjects (32.7%) had vitamin D level under 20 ng/ml and 2 subjects (3.44%) under 10 ng/ml. Children with vitamin D deficiency had significantly lower magnesium concentration and lower Z score of lumbar spine (−1.34 ± 1.24 vs. −0.30 ± 1.21, p = 0.01) compared to diabetics with sufficient vitamin D concentration. No significant difference was found in parameters calcium, phosphorus or glycosylated hemoglobin. Patients with diabetic nephropathy (n = 18) showed no significant difference in vitamin D, glycosylated hemoglobin or Z score of lumbar spine compared to the patients without nephropathy (n = 40). Subjects with nephropathy had significantly longer diabetes duration, significantly higher cholesterol and triacylglycerol concentration. We report the case of a 52year old man with severe acute pancreatitis. In this case report we discuss the undesirable effects of parenteral nutrition and the importance of nutritional support at patients with severe necrotizing pancreatitis. Severe acute pancreatitis is usually accompanied by systemic inflammatory response syndrome, which results in hypermetabolism with prominent protein catabolism. Providing nutrition to these patients is of paramount importance. An adequate nutritional support is crucial in patients with severe and complicated pancreatitis. This research paper presents the results of ovarian reserve estimation for 125 women with the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) who have undergone various methods of surgical treatment resection of the ovaries, thermokauterisation and drilling by laser (HoYag). Ovarian reserve was estimated according to the amount of antral follicles, level of follitropin and Müllerian inhibiting substance (MIS), also named antiMüllerian hormone (AMH). Blood flow in ovarian tissue was also examined after various methods of surgical treatment. The benefits of implementing interprofessional and teambased programs are well recognized. However, for interprofessional education to be effective and broadly implemented, the health professions, policymakers, insurers, academic institutions, health care providers, and regulatory bodies should embrace and adopt a new, interprofessional education framework. These stakeholders should create a shared value and vision for interprofessional health professions education, research, and practice. This vision should be patientoriented and contain a measurable component across the entire educational continuum, from admission into a health professional program through retirement. Such a framework would maximize and value the strengths of individual professions in the integrated delivery of high quality care. Finally, in creating a successful model, a series of questions should be considered: how best can team competence be measured, how should individual behavioral changes be documented when we think of individual rather than teamlevel changes, how do we create and measure performance criteria based on shared understanding and experience in the practice setting? Within academic settings, there are more specific barriers including a lack of administrative support, financial and human resources for interprofessional education, conflicts in schedules and health professions curricula, and limitations to the time required to plan and implement faculty development for interprofessional learning. Finally, despite progress, there remain regulatory and professional barriers to achieving full and meaningful implementation of effective models. Lichen sclerosus (LS) je onemocnění neznámé etiologie, postihující především postmenopauzální ženy. LS patří mezi nejčastější non-neoplastické epiteliální změny na vulvě, má typický makroskopický vzhled a klinicky je charakterizován intenzivním pruritem, případně dyspareunií. Mezi rizika LS patří tendence k jizvení a vznik dlaždicového karcinomu v terénu LS. Léčba LS je obyčejně dlouhodobá, opakovaná a jejím základem je lokální aplikace silného kortikosteroidu. Při adekvátní konzervativní léčbě je chirurgické řešení indikováno zřídka. Pacientky s LS je vhodné sledovat na specializovaném pracovišti., Lichen sclerosus (LS) is a disease of unknown ethiology, affecting mainly postmenopausal women. LS belongs to the most frequent non-neoplastic epithelial disorders of the vulva, it has a typical macroscopic pattern, and it is characterized with an intensive pruritus or dyspareunia. Patients with LS have a risk of scarring of external genitalia and risk of developing squamous cell carcinoma of the vulva. Treatment of LS is usually long-term, repeated, and it is based on local potent corticosteroids. Surgical treatment is rarely indicated in the management of LS. Judikatura ESLP v oblasti problematiky translidí významným způsobem ovlivňuje právní diskurs v jednotlivých státech, přičemž v oblasti práv translidí se zdá, že se vyvíjí směrem k inovativnímu, otevřenějšímu přístupu k translidem. Tento přístup lze vypozorovat na základě rozšiřující interpretace zejména článku 8 a článku 12 Evropské úmluvy o lidských právech. V oblasti výkladu článku 8 ESLP se posunul od vysoce restriktivního přístupu, kdy ponechával národní zákonnou úpravu v dikci jednotlivých států, přes relativně neutrální přístup, který interpretoval negativní ochranu soukromého života, až přes extenzivní přístup, jenž naopak otevíral přístup k aktivnímu chápání soukromého života jako vyjádření autonomie a umožnění seberealizace každého člověka. Podobně v oblasti výkladu článku 12 týkajícího se rodinného života se judikatura ESLP výrazně posunula, když od zastávaného názoru, že práva uzavřít manželství a založit rodinu mohou mít pouze osoby opačného pohlaví určeného na základě biologických kritérií, se posunula k otevřenějšímu, pojetí ochrany tohoto práva, podle něhož se práva uzavřít manželství mohou stěžovatelé domáhat i v případech, kdy nehodlají či nemohou založit rodinu. Došlo tak k oddělení jednoty práva na uzavření manželství a práva na rodinu., ECHR case law on the issue of transgender significantly affects legal discourse in each country, and the rights of transsexuals seems to be moving towards innovative, open attitude towards transsexuals. This approach can be demonstrated in the expanding interpretation, in particular, of Article 8 and Article 12 of the European Convention on Human Rights. In the interpretation of Article 8 of the ECHR the attitude has shifted from highly restrictive approach which kept the primacy of national legislation, to the relatively neutral approach, which interpreted the negative protection of private life and to the extensive approach which on the other hand opened access to an active understanding of private life as expression of autonomy and self-realization. Similarly, in the interpretation of Article 12 relating to family life, the ECHR case law has significantly changed when it shifted from the initial position in which the Court held that the right to marry and found a family extends only to a person of the opposite sex determined on the basis of biological criteria to a more open approach according to which the right to marry extends also to those who can not or do not intend to start a family.
