15593. Neruda redaktor Josefa Baráka?: sonda do Nerudovy redakční praxe především na příkladu Adolfa Heyduka

- Subject:
- Jan Neruda, Josef Barák, Adolf Heyduk, authorship, editorial praxis, autorství, and redakční praxe
- Language:
- Czech
- Description:
- The text sets out to examine the hypothesis that Jan Neruda had a hand in the editorship or authorship of poems signed by Josef Barák, thus examining the conclusion of the study by Petr Plecháč and Jiří Flaišman: “Barák’s problem: Neruda from the standpoint of contemporary stylometry” (Česká literatura No. 5/2017), who deduced that there was a textual similarity between the two authors and attempted to explain it in terms of the theory that Jan Neruda was involved in editing or co-authoring his work. The present text analyses Jan Neruda’s editing practice during the 1859–1860 period on the basis of a comparison of newly discovered manuscripts of poems by A. Heyduk, V. A. Crha, E. B. Kaizl and J. V. Jahn with printed material in publications edited by Neruda, particularly in the first annual volume of the journal Obrazy života (Images of Life, 1859) and in the book edition of Heyduk’s Básně (Poems, 1859). On the basis of this analysis and the critical determination of constraints emerging from the available archive material under analysis, the author characterizes Jan Neruda’s editorial work, concluding that it does not form a basis for the hypothesis that Neruda made decisive alterations to the text of the poems by Josef Barák resulting in a change in stylometric indicators. and Text si klade za cíl prozkoumat hypotézu o redakčním či autorském podílu Jana Nerudy na básních podepsaných Josefem Barákem.

- Description:
- We used a model of tibial lengthening in rabbits to study the postoperative pain pattern during limb-lengthening and morphological changes in the dorsal root ganglia (DRG), including alteration of substance P (SP) expression. Four groups of animals (naïve; OG: osteotomized only group; SDG/FDG: slow/fast distraction groups, with 1 mm/3 mm lengthening a day, respectively) were used. Signs of increasing postoperative pain were detected until the 10th postoperative day in OG/SDG/FDG, then they decreased in OG but remained higher in SDG/FDG until the distraction finished, suggesting that the pain response is based mainly on surgical trauma until the 10th day, while the lengthening extended its duration and increased its intensity. The only morphological change observed in the DRGs was the presence of large vacuoles in some large neurons of OG/SDG/FDG. Cell size analysis of the S1 DRGs showed no cell loss in any of the three groups; a significant increase in the number of SP-positive large DRG cells in the OG; and a significant decrease in the number of SP-immunoreactive small DRG neurons in the SDG/FDG. Faster and larger distraction resulted in more severe signs of pain sensation, and further reduced the number of SP-positive small cells, compared to slow distraction., K. Pap, Á. Berta, G. Szöke, M. - The essay will focalise on main topics of the literary, aesthetical and philosophical exploration of the so called "Wiener Moderne", that means on the erosion of the idea of certainty about the I (E. Mach) and of the wide territory of the Other. Working out parallelisms and differences between German and Austrian Modernism texts of Andrian, Hoffmannsthal, Beer-Hofmann and Schnitzler will be discussed giving space to Slavic components too as well as to intricate relationships between corporality, violence and urban, capitalistic contexts. and Článek zahrnuje poznámkový aparát pod čarou

- Language:

- Description:
- The present study investigated the effects of nesfatin-1 on gastric distension (GD)-responsive neurons via an interaction with corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) receptor signaling in the ventromedial hypothalamic nucleus (VMH), and the potential regulation of these effects by hippocampal projections to VMH. Extracellular single-unit discharges were recorded in VHM following administration of nesfatin-1. The projection of nerve fibers and expression of nesfatin-1 were assessed by retrograde tracing and fluoro-immunohistochemical staining, respectively. Results showed that there were GD-responsive neurons in VMH; Nesfatin-1 administration and electrical stimulation of hippocampal CA1 sub-region altered the firing rate of these neurons. These changes could be partially blocked by pretreatment with the non-selective CRF antagonist astressin-B or an antibody to NUCB2/nesfatin-1. Electrolytic lesion of CA1 hippocampus reduced the effects of nesfatin-1 on VMH GD-responsive neuronal activity. These studies suggest that nesfatin-1 plays an important role in GD-responsive neuronal activity through interactions with CRF signaling pathways in VMH. The hippocampus may participate in the modulation of nesfatin-1-mediated effects in VMH., H. Feng, Q. Wang, F. Guo, X. Han, M. Pang, X. Sun, Y. Gong, L. Xu., and Obsahuje bibliografii

15600. Nest: re-engineering the compositional approach to rule-based inference

- Subject:
- expert systems and rule-based reasoning
- Language:
- English
- Description:
- A compositional approach to rule-based inference is now often considered as overtaken by otlier approaches. We suggest that a few relatively straightforward extensions together with state-of-the-art implementation techniques should upgrade it to a level making it a useful part of today’s knowledge erigineering inventory. The ideas developed by the authors in mid-90s have recently been incorporated into a new expert systém called Nest. In addition to the traditional network of propositions and compositional rules, Nést also supports binary, nominal and numeric attributes used for derivation of proposition weights, logical (no uncertainty) and default (no antecedent) rules, context expressions and integrity constraints. The inference mechanism combines backward and forward chaining. Uncertainty processing (based on Hájek’s algebraic theory) allows interval weights interpreted as a union of hypothetical cases, and a novel set of combination functions inspired by neural networks has been added. The system is implemented in two versions: stand-alone and web-based client-server one. A user-friendly editor covering all mentioned features is included.
