Příspěvek se zaměřuje na dílo profesora Antonína Hobzy, československého odborníka na mezinárodní právo první poloviny 20. století. První část představuje a hodnotí jeho chápání mezinárodního práva s ohledem na změny, k nimž od Hobzovy doby došlo v oblasti subjektů, pramenů a základních zásad tohoto práva. Druhá část uvádí a analyzuje Hobzovy odhady budoucího vývoje v oblasti mezinárodního práva, týkající se vztahu přirozenoprávního a pozitivistického přístupu, vzniku mezinárodních institucí, včetně stálých soudních orgánů, změn v oblasti kontroly dodržování a vynucování mezinárodního práva a vztahu mezinárodního práva a vnitrostátních právních řádů. Příspěvek dokládá, že i když ve své době mohl Hobza působit jako naivní snílek, z dnešního pohledu vychází z hodnocení spíše jako opatrný realista. Hobza správně identifikoval hlavní vývojové trendy mezinárodního práva, podcenil ale rychlost a rozsah změn, jimiž toto právo v posledních desetiletích prošlo. and The article introduces the work of professor Antonín Hobza, a Czechoslovak expert on international law who lived in the first half of the 20th century. The first section presents and assesses Hobza’s view of international law taking into account changes that have taken place in international law since Hobza’s concerning its subjects, sources and fundamental principles. The second sections gives an overview of Hobza’s estimates for the future development of international law, concerning the relationship between natural law and positive law, the establishment of international institutions, including permanent international courts, changes with respect to the control and enforcement mechanisms and the relationship between international law and national legal orders. The article shows that although in his time,Hobza could have been seen as a naive utopian, from today’s point of view, he rather scores as a cautious realist.Having successfuly identified the main trends of the future development of international law, Hobza underestimated the rate and extent of this development
Historie forenzní psychologie v Čechách a na Slovensku je popsána v řadě psychologických a kriminologických publikacích obvykle v rámci úvodních kapitol. Tyto texty se však liší v různých aspektech: vymezení začátku forenzní psychologie či popsání historického vývoje forenzní psychologie. Cílem tohoto článku je nahlédnout do historie forenzní psychologie do začátku druhé světové války a poukázat na to, jak je prezentována v české a slovenské psychologické literatuře. Na základě této exkurze byly také doplněny různé informace dohledáním primárních zdrojů. and The history of forensic psychology in Czech Republic and Slovakia is described in many psychological or criminological publications usually in the introductory chapters. These texts, however, differ in different aspects: definition of the beginning of forensic psychology and the description of the historical development of forensic psychology. The aim of this article is to present how forensic psychology’s history till the beginning of WWII is represented in Czech and Slovak psychological literature, and further to fill in missing information by searching for primary sources.
The book entitled "Assayer" published in 1623 was a controversial text about the theory of comets between Galileo and his opponent Horatio Grassi, the Jesuit mathematician. Galileo was an author of the original but false optical theory of comets while Grassi proposed a supra-lunar origin of comets supporting Tycho's opinion on comets and their motion. Problematika učení a zapomínání je předmětem systematického zkoumání již od konce 19. století. Od učení bezesmyslného materiálu se později přešlo ke zkoumání paměti pomocí materiálu smysluplného a v této tradici se pokračuje doposud. I přes postupný vývoj poznání a nových metod pro zkoumání paměti se pro tyto účely stále nejčastěji užívají testy seznamů slov. Vůbec prvním takovým testem, který je dodnes užíván, byl Test paměti na slova, známý pod názvem Reyův auditorně-verbální test učení (RAVLT). Metoda přispěním několika autorů postupně nabyla dnešní podoby, která kromě pokusů učení zahrnuje administraci seznamu B (interference), oddálené vybavení a rekognice. V současnosti se jedná o jednu z nejvíce používaných metod pro měření verbální paměti. V Česku jsou dostupné dvě verze RAVLT, starší známá pod názvem Paměťový test učení, a druhá, jejíž překlad se více přiblížil původní anglické verzi. Cílem příspěvku je poskytnout přehled historie a dosavadního vývoje RAVLT v Česku, popsat klinickou a výzkumnou užitečnost této metody zejména u populace starších osob a v neposlední řadě představit možnosti jejího využití do budoucna. and Learning and forgetting has been the subject of systematic research since the late 19th century. The examination of memory was through the meaningless syllables at the beginning, which was later replaced with meaningful material, and this tradition continues until now. Despite of the development of knowledge and new methods for testing memory, word list tests are still the most commonly used for these purposes. The first such test, which is still currently used, was Test of memory for words known as Rey Auditory-Verbal Learning Test (RAVLT). Thanks to the contribution of some authors, the method gained its current form and besides the learning trials includes administration of the list B (interference), delayed recall and recognition. Currently, it is one of the most used methods for examination of verbal memory. There are available two versions of RAVLT in the Czech Republic, older known as the “Paměťový test učení”, and the second one, which translation is more adequate to the English version. The aim of the paper is to provide an overview of the history and current development of RAVLT in the Czech Republic, to describe the clinical and research usefulness of this method especially in the elderly population and to present possibilities of its use in the future.
The article recalls a history of the first two centuries of research and design of optical doublets. Popisuje události spojené s prvními objevy a osobnostmi, které stály na počátku rozvoje konstrukční optiky.
The paper presents the first historically available designs of two-element objectives - doublets, which origin in the second half of the 18th century and in 19th century. Parameters of those doubles are presented. Moreover, the calculation of their optical characteristics is done, and methods for numerical design of non-cemented and cemented doublet are shown as well. and Práce představuje první historicky dohledatelné návrhy dvoučlenného objektivu pro dalekohledy - dubletu, které pocházejí z druhé poloviny 18. století a ze století 19. Jsou ukázány parametry těchto dubletů a výpočty jejich optických charakteristik, a dále jsou uvedeny metody výpočtu netmeleného a tmeleného dubletu.
