Stavební techniky v řádovém státu německých rytířů v Prusku založené na příkladech vybraných řádových domů v oblasti "ziemia chełmińska" (historický region okolo města Chełmno).
Současné metody nedestruktivní archeologie nabízejí několik možností průzkumů celých archeologických lokalit. Jednou z perspektivních oblastí využití geofyzikálních metod je systematický průzkum hradišť. Dva zvolené příklady aplikace představují dva způsoby efektivního využití především magnetometrické metody průzkumu před plánovanou stavební činností. Část vnitřního terénu a opevnění pravěkého a raně středověkého hradiště Přerovská hůra je v současné době ohrožena výstavbou vodojemu. Proto lokalita byla sledována výběrovým geofyzikálním měřením zaměřeným výhradně na místa předpokládaných opevnění. Část opevnění pravěkého a raně středověkého hradiště Zámka je ohrožena výstavbou dálničního obchvatu kolem Prahy. Tato lokalita byla geofyzikálními metodami zkoumána celoplošně. Výsledky průzkumů přispěly k prokázání dosud neznámých systémů opevnění hradišť. and The present non-destructive methods of archaeology offer more possibilities for surveys of archaeological sites. The systematic survey of hillforts is one from the most promising areas for the use of geophysical methods. Two chosen application examples represent two different ways (survey of full area or chosen areas of the expected fortification) of the efficient use of the mainly magnetometric method before planned building activity in areas of archaeological sites. Part of the inner area and fortifications of the Přerovská Hůra prehistoric and early medieval hillfort is endangered by the construction of a water reservoir (the site was surveyed by full area geophysical prospection). Previously unknown outer fortifications of the Zámka prehistoric and early medieval hillfort are endangered by the construction of the bypass around Prague. New results from surveys before the beginning of earthwork helped document systems of hillfort fortifications that were unknown.
Článek sumarizuje výsledky více než století trvajících archeologických výzkumů na raně středověkém hradišti v Libici nad Cidlinou a v jeho aglomeraci. Přestože podíl archeologicky prozkoumaných ploch řadí Libici na přední místo mezi soudobými raně středověkými centry, nedostatečný stav zpracování vyžaduje jasně definovat východiska a hlavní badatelské cíle. Hlavní pozornost věnovali autoři topografii lokality, vymezení základních vývojových fází a jejich absolutní chronologii a charakteristice jednotlivých etap archeologického výzkumu. and This article summarises the results of over a century of archaeological investigations at the Early Medieval castle at Libice nad Cidlinou and its agglomeration. Although the size of the archaeologically assessed area ranks Libice as one of the foremost early medieval centres, the insufficient state of processing calls for a clearly defined focus and, more particularly, research aims. Here the authors have concentrated on the topography of the site, the delimitation of the major developmental phases and their absolute chronology, and the characteristics of the various phases of archaeological investigation.
Jedním z témat archeologické antropologie je studium vztahu člověka a artefaktu. Z tohoto hlediska je také možné studovat problematiku rekonstrukce středověkých opevnění. Výzkumu raně středověkých opevnění se věnovala řada badatelů, ale jen v některých případech interpretace dospěla až do stádia návrhu celkové kresebné rekonstrukce fortifikace. Z hlediska hájitelnosti těchto zařízení lze posuzovat rekonstrukce z pohledu vztahu hradby a lidského těla. Na některých kresebných rekonstrukcích podoby vrcholně a pozdně středověkých opevnění se na náspu objevují opevňovací prvky v podobě palisády. Ty nejsou spolehlivě doloženy a jejich existence by byla z hlediska obranyschopnosti kontraproduktivní. and One of the subjects of archaeological anthropology is the study of the relationship between man and artefacts. From this perspective it is also possible to study questions surrounding the reconstruction of medieval fortifications. A number of researchers have studied Early Medieval fortifications, but only in several instances has the interpretation reached the stage of drafting the overall graphic reconstruction of these fortifications. From the perspective of the defensibility of these structures, it is possible to assess the reconstruction from the point of view of the relationship of the walls and the human body. Fortifying elements in the form of palisades appear on the ramparts in several of the graphic reconstructions of the High and Late Middle Age fortifications. These are not reliably documented, and their existence from a defence perspective would be counterproductive.
