The main objective of this paper is to find structural conditions under which a stochastic game between two players with total reward functions has an ϵ-equilibrium. To reach this goal, the results of Markov decision processes are used to find ϵ-optimal strategies for each player and then the correspondence of a better answer as well as a more general version of Kakutani's Fixed Point Theorem to obtain the ϵ-equilibrium mentioned. Moreover, two examples to illustrate the theory developed are presented.
V příspěvku jsou analyzovány následky dopravních nehod seniorů- cyklistů. Vycházeli jsme z dostupných statistických dat o dopravních nehodách. Zjistili jsme, že senioři vykazují, při srovnání s ostatními věkovými skupinami, závažnější následky, které jsme vyjádřili faktorem závažnosti nehody, jako podíl smrtelných a těžkých zranění. Ve všech kategoriích vycházejí údaje pro seniory hůře než pro ostatní věkové skupiny. Řešení problému relativní nebezpečnosti jízdního kola pro tuto věkovo u skupinu vidíme ve stavbě a využívání cyklostezek, nošení ochranných cyklistických přileb a zvážení využití tricyklů, které omezují pády z kol., The paper analyses sequelae of traffic accidents involving senior cyclists. The paper is based on the available statistics on traffic accidents. We identified that, in comparison to other age groups, seniors suffer from more serious consequences; we expressed these as an accident seriousness factor, i. e. the proportion of fatal and serious injuries. The data on seniors are inferior in all categories to the data pertinent to other age groups. Bikeways should be constructed and used, protective helmets should be worn and tricycle use should be considered (tricycles are associated with fewer falls) as measures to alleviate the problem of relative dangerousness of bicycles for this age group., M. Photography started to be applied in sciences shortly after the announcement of the daguerreotype in 1839 and become one of the most important supporting disciplines for science. This review concentrates on the history of scientific research on photographing processes which was conducted at Charles University. The most important was development of sensitometry which started by work of Vojtěch Šafařík (1829-1902) who thoroughly studied the dry proces. Photographic work in the Institute of Physics (IP) of the Czech part of "Carlo-Ferdinand University" was initiated due to studies of X-rays (from 1895) and later the Institute of Photochemistry and Scientific Photography was founded within IP by Professor Viktorin Vojtěch (1879-1948). In 1950-s this institute disappear and splitted into chemical part (colloidal chemistry and photochemistry) at Faculty of Natural Sciences and physical part (photophysics, studies of latent image and silver halogenides) at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics under leadership of Professor Ladislav Zachoval (1906-1982).
