Dále se zabývá chronologií raně středověké keramiky v lokalitě. Detailněji jsou probrány nálezy charakteru výrobních pyrotechnologických zařízení a archeologické doklady mincování v 11. století. Závěrem jsou porovnávány jednotlivé komponenty aglomerace – hrad, opevněné předhradí, jižní neopevněné předhradí a podhradí. and The current knowledge regarding Žatec in the Early Middle Ages. The submitted work provides a spatial demarcation of the early medieval Žatec agglomeration and addresses the development of this location. Due to the fact that the overwhelming majority of research has not yet been processed, the work approaches the subject in more general terms. The work likewise presents a chronology of early medieval ceramics at the site. Production pyrotechnical devices and archaeological minting artefacts from the 11th century are discussed in detail. The conclusion of the work offers a comparison of individual components of the agglomeration such as the castle, fortified bailey, the unfortified southern bailey, and the settlements below the castle.
