Metodou pylové a nepylové (Non-Pollen-Palynomorphs; NPP) analýzy byly zpracovány 4 vzorky z výplně středověké studny z lokality Jiřské náměstí – Pražský hrad. Tři vzorky obsahovaly pylové spektrum i NPP s dostatečnou vypovídací hodnotou pro následnou paleoekologickou interpretaci. Vzorek z r. 1998 byl na palynomorfy chudší. Výsledky pylové analýzy doplňují údaje, které byly získány makroskopickou analýzou. Ta pracovala s větším množstvím materiálu, a zachytila tak více rostlinných taxonů než pylová analýza. Té se však podařilo determinovat některé NPP. Významné jsou především nálezy obalů vajíček střevních parazitických červů. Výsledky obou paleobotanických analýz opět potvrzují nutnost jejich propojení. and Four samples from the fill of the medieval well from the Jiřské Square, Prague Castle, were processed by the method of pollen and Non-Pollen-Palynomorphs (NPP) analyses. Three samples contained pollen spectrum as well as NPP with a sufficient predicative value for the subsequent palaeoecological interpretation. The sample from the year 1998 was poorer in palynomorphs. The results of the pollen analyses complete the data obtained by macroremains analyses. This analysis worked with a bigger quantity of material thus recording more plant taxa than the pollen analysis was able to. Pollen analysis, however, succeeded in determining some of NPP. Above all the finds of the envelopes of the eggs of intestinal parasitic worms are significant. The results of both the palaeobotanical analyses confirm again the necessity of their combination.
Podle prezence zástupců mokřadní a rumištní vegetace se přírodní prostředí v centrální části Hradu mezi 10. a 13. stol. zásadně nezměnilo. and The analysed material comes from the fill of the medieval well in the central part of the Jiřské Square at the Prague Castle. The fill was archaeologically dated to the 13th – 13th/14th century. The smaller part of the material was floated manually on the sieve, the rest on the floating device: the comparison of results of bouth methods shows obvious differences. The analyses of macro-remains have been completed with pollen analysis. In the set of finds dominated the diaspores of utilited species (opium poppy, fruit). The greatly damaged, altogether mineralized macro-remains backed up their origin in the aerated, calcium enriched rubbish layers of household waste with faeces. According to the presence of wetland and ruderal species the environment in the central part of the Prague Castle during the 10th–13th centuries did non essentially change.
This paper focuses on the impact of changes in temperature on one bay of St Vitus’ Cathedral in Prague Castle. The objective of the study is to simulate as correctly as possible the distribution of temperatures in the structure, and then to compute the thermal dilatation movements. Theoretical simulation of dilatation movements involves simulating the temperatures in the structure and then computing the displacements. Insolation and changes in air temperature around the structure are included in the temperature simulation. The computed temperature fields are used as a loading for computing the forces and deformations of one bay of St Vitus’ Cathedral. The theoretical deformation values obtained by means of the 3-D finite element model were compared with the measurements. The computed surface temperatures were also confronted with the surface temperatures measured in the interior and on the exterior of the cathedral. The results obtained from the simulations correspond well with the measured surface temperatures and deformations., Pavel Beran, Jiří Máca and Petr Fajman., and Obsahuje bibliografii
