Nowadays the attention of researchers is primarily focused on its effectiveness. Authors provide an overview of 30 studies dealing with the effectiveness of online psychotherapy. They collected surveys focused on the effectiveness of one of three basic forms of online therapy: self-help online psychotherapy program without contact with a therapist, self-help online psychotherapeutic program with minimal contact with the therapist and online psychotherapy with a therapist. Most studies examined the effectiveness of CBT intervention which lasted between 6-8 weeks. Efficiency was mostly measured by the comparison with control groups, made up of patients on the waiting list. Two thirds of the studies included in the research design follow up of the respondents, mostly for 3-6 months. In all the studies online psychotherapeutic interventions proved to be effective means of mental disorders treatment. Studies which included a control group have always shown that completion of the online treatment brought more relief than inclusion in the control group. Studies comparing the online intervention to face to face treatment came in all cases to the conclusion that the two forms of therapy are equally effective., Zbyněk Vybíral, Petra Vondráčková., and Obsahuje seznam literatury
Desenzitizace a zpracování pomocí očních pohybů (EMDR) představuje terapeutickou metodu pro léčbu posttraumatické stresové poruchy s empiricky ověřovanou účinností. Výzkumy ukázaly, že EMDR snižuje živost a emocionalitu autobiografických vzpomínek a redukuje psychofyziologické nabuzení vlivem na autonomní nervový systém. Hypotézy o mechanismu účinku EMDR předpokládají aktivaci orientační reakce, procesů duální pozornosti a procesy analogické REM fázi spánku. Předpokládá se, že EMDR vyvolává funkční neurobiologické změny, které zefektivňují zpracování informací v centrální nervové soustavě, především u jedinců s posttraumatickou stresovou poruchou., Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) represents a promising approach to treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder. The empirical findings provide evidence for the effect of EMDR on decreasing of subjectively perceived vividness and emotional burden of autobiographic memories and on reducing arousal of the autonomic nervous system by shifting the balance towards parasympathetic activation. Recent hypotheses suggest that the effects of EMDR rely on neurobiological mechanisms employed in dual focus attention, orienting reflex and REM sleep. This reprocessing seems to provoke a specific neurobiological response that makes the information processing in central nervous system more efficient, particularly in individuals with PTSD., Hana Vojtová, Petr Bob, Radek Ptáček., and Obsahuje seznam literatury
ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, porucha pozornosti s hyperaktivitou) představuje z hlediska psychiatrie a psychologie jednu z nejvýznamnějších poruch dětského věku. Kontroverzní postoje vycházejí spíše z osobních zaujetí, než z odborné neslučitelnosti názorů., ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) represents one of the most important disorders in child psychiatry and psychology. Despite multifactorial attitude to ADHD has predominantly been presented, this disorder keeps eliciting controversies in therapeutic approaches, both in psychopharmacological trends and in preferences of psychosocial interventions. The authors describe theoretical basis and therapeutical methods of both trends and show benefits of their reciprocal combination. Controversial attitudes proceed mainly from personal prejudices than from scientific incompatibility of different approaches., Iva Dudová, Jana Kocourková., and Obsahuje seznam literatury
Záverom prináša prehľad doterajších výskumných zistení ohľadom EFTC, ktoré zhrňujú výskumy efektu terapie, metaanalýzy, štúdie efektívnosti nákladov a výskumy procesu zmeny v terapii, výskumy efektívnosti tejto párovej terapie na rozličných vzorkách populácie a v špecifických životných situáciách., Emotion focused couples therapy or Emotionally focused therapy for couples (EFTC) is short-term 8 to 20 sessions, structured therapy originally developed in 1980’s by Leslie Greenberg and Sue Johnson. It is one of the most empirically based types of couple therapy. Research has found that 70-75% of couples who undergo EFTC, will recover from distress, and these results are tested as stable over time by follow-up. All together with other research findings, EFTC meets the criteria for evidence based treatment. Study outlines the theoretical background of this couple therapy, which is relatively little known to Slovak and Czech therapists, and its differences comparing to other marital therapies. The contribution discusses the various phases and steps of the therapeutic process and explains the different kinds of dyadic cycles and process of change. In conclusion, it provides an overview of current research findings regarding EFTC that summarize effect size research, meta-analyzes, studies of costeffectiveness research and change process in therapy, research of the effectiveness of the therapy for different samples of the population and people in specific situations., and Júlia Halamová.
Kategoriemi odlišujícími různé koncepty a definice formulace případu jsou původ teorie, centrální prvek, symptomatologie, vztah k plánování, adresát a profesní kontext., The purpose of the presented text is an introduction of different psychotherapeutic case formulation models. First the case formulation concept is defined and its basic qualities and purpose are delineated. Then the text introduces specific aspects of case formulation as viewed by different psychotherapy approaches, and models declaring their usefulness for more than one specific approach. Mentioned models are then put into context of a set of categories offering overview of content and formal aspects of case formulations. The categories differentiating concepts and definitions of case formulations are: theory origination, central element, symptomatology, approach to planning, recipient, and context of profession., and Michal Čevelíček, Roman Hytych, Jan Roubal.
