The aim of our study was to determine the significance of lymphocyte-platelet adhesion (LPA), interleukins, transforming included 139 pregnant women aged between 17 and 27 years (21.3±4.22 years). GH was diagnosed in 119 women after 20 weeks of pregnancy. 20 patients (control group) were with physiological course of pregnancy. The distribution of patients by groups was carried out according to the level of blood pressure (BP) in accordance with ICD-10 (Geneva, WHO, 2002). The survey was conducted at the moment of detection pregnancy from 7 to 10 weeks and in dynamics of I, II and III trimesters of gestation. In the dynamics of gestation, were studied the number of desquamated endothelial cells circulating in the systemic circulation (CECs), nitrates levels, the adhesion of platelets by estimation their ability to form co-aggregates with lymphocytes by determining the percentage of lymphocytes aggregates with thrombocytes (lymphocyte-platelet plugs), at risk of hypertensive disorders, especially after 20-22 weeks of gestation and later, lymphocytes ability to platelets adhesion is rose, the concentrations of pro-inflammatory cytokines and NO level are increased. Wider availability of several highly effecti - ve interventions such as oral rehyd - ration therapy in cases of diarrhoea could prevent large proportion of these child deaths. Unfortunately these interventions are usually not available in African countries. Ho - wever both availability of different life-saving health interventions and child mortality varies a lot across African countries. The purpose of this article is to explore what are determinants of child mortality and availability of these interventions in Africa. Comparative assessment of clinical efficiency of omeprazole and rabeprazole in treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). 65 patients with a verified diagnosis GERD were examined. Comparative clinical investigations of using of omeprazole and rabeprazole have revealed effectiveness of both drugs in the therapy of GERD. This article presents results of using proton therapy after operation of patient with brain meningioma. After operation brain meningiomas is known to not rarely recur due to certain localization and growth of tumor into main cerebral vessels, nerves and other main brain structures. This creates certain difficulties in operative access and surgical intervention, i.e. tumor resection. The target of research was the implementation of the comparative analysis of conservative therapy of preparation of basic therapy and also new methods of treatment (anticytokine therapy). Appointment of salofalk in twos tablets (0, 5) 34 times a day per os, and also 2,0 gr in the form of a rectal enema unitary for a period of seven days, then had transferd the patients to reception 2,0 gr salofalk per os, allowed to achieve substantial improvement patients cliniclaboratory and endoscopic symptoms with a heavy intensification of ulcer colitis variation, providing full cliniclabaratory remissions achievements of disease at 8 (34 %) patients. In the Minister of the Uzbek Public Health of the Republican Science Coloproctological Center at 10 patients with the IDI have spent the therapy remicade, 7 of them had NUC and 3 patients had the Crohn's disease. Therefore, all patients no longer than on the first week after introduction of remicade had improvement of a course disease which was expressed in defering stool, extinction or reduction of pathological impurity in excrement and subsidence bellyaches. During colonoscopical inspection, in 1218 weeks after the first infusion at 80% of the patients had observed disappearance of ulcers and erosion. In terms of 6 months of supervision of relapse of disease was not noted. All new directions in treatment of the IDI, apparently, are perspective, but while are proved only theoretically and had no practical development. V tomto roce uplynulo 25 let od otevření Střediska komplexní terapie psychosomatických poruch v Liberci. Rekapitulujeme okolnosti vzniku, mapujeme teoretické zdroje, ze kterých tým pracoviště vyšel, a na základě autentických dokumentů ilustrujeme vývoj, kterým za čtvrt století na své cestě do neznáma tento projekt prošel. Ambulantní týmové pracoviště zaměřené na psychosomatické pacienty vzniklo na půdě všeobecného lékařství a představovalo neobvyklé řešení v systému zdravotní péče. Při pohledu zpátky se ukazuje, že shodou okolností byly vstupní parametry nastaveny tak šťastně, že tato „porucha“ v systému měla dostatečný potenciál k rozvoji v oblasti, se kterou u nás bylo málo zkušeností a která neměla téměř žádnou podporu oficiálních řídících struktur. Hlavní koncepce pracoviště vznikala v diskusích mezi lékaři a psychology během osmdesátých let, a v době otevření pracoviště byla prakticky hotova. Základní nastavení bio-psycho-sociálního přístupu k pacientům bylo založeno na teorii narativní terapie a rodinné psychosomatiky. Kolem ní se postupně sdružovala řada dalších terapeutických přístupů, gestalt-terapeutický přístup, rogersovský přístup, ericksonovský přístup, psychoanalytické směry, práce s tělem, meditativní směry terapie spojené s jógou, akupunktura a rehabilitace, podle aktuálního složení týmu. Pracovištěm prošlo za 25 let přes 50 pracovníků, terapeutů, lékařů, psychologů, fyzioterapeutů, středního zdravotnického personálu a administrativy. S výjimkou prvních asi tří let prochází pracovištěm stabilně kolem jednoho tisíce pacientů ročně. Lze tedy hovořit o zkušenosti s nejméně 20 000 pacienty trpícími komplikovaným psychosomatickým stonáním. S naším způsobem práce jsme se netajili, vyškolili jsme stovky zdravotnických pracovníků a pomohli jsme založit další podobná pracoviště. Speciálním tréninkem rodinné terapie psychosomatických poruch, akreditovaným pro zdravotnictví, prošlo na 150 lékařů, psychologů a dalších profesí. Další stovky odborníků prošly kurzem o rozhovoru nebo sebezkušenostními výcviky vedenými v gestalt-terapeutickém stylu., This year it has been 25 years since the Complex Therapy Centre of Psychosomatic Disorders in Liberec was opened. We are summarizing the circumstances of the formation, surveying theoretical resources on which the workplace team has been based, and we are illustrating the development on the basis of authentic documents which this project has gone through on its way into the unknown during a quarter of a century. The ambulatory team workplace focused on psychosomatic patients came into existence on the ground of general medicine and represented an unusual solution in the health care system. When looking back it appears that coincidentally, the input parameters were so well-chosen that this „failure“ in the system had sufficient potential for the development in the area with which we had had little experience, and that did not have almost any support of official governance structures. The main workplace concept emerged in the discussions between doctors and psychologists during the eighties, and it was virtually finished at the time of the opening of the workplace. The basic set-up of the bio-psycho-social approach to patients was based on the theory of narrative therapy and family psychosomatics. A number of other therapeutic approaches cropped gradually around it, gestalt therapeutic approach, Rogers’s approach, Erickson’s approach, psychoanalytic trends, work with the body, meditative therapy trends associated with meditation and yoga, acupuncture and rehabilitation, according to the current staff. 45 workers, therapists, doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, middle medical and administrative personnel have worked in the workplace during 25 years. With the exception of the first three years, about one thousand patients come per year. Therefore it is possible to speak of experience with at least 20 thousand patients with complicated psychosomatic diseases. We have not kept our way of work secret; we have trained hundreds of health workers, and helped found other similar workplaces. 150 doctors, psychologists and other professions have participated in a special training of family therapy of psychosomatic disorders accredited for health care. Seminal vesicle secretion is important for increasing the stability of sperm chromatin, inhibition of the immune activity in the female reproductive tract and so on. Metronidazole (MTZ), a drug used for treatment of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and protozoa, may have negative effects on the genital gland including the seminal vesicles. Curcumin exhibits antioxidant as well as anti-inflammatory properties. The present study aims to evaluate the negative effects of MTZ on the seminal vesicle structure and ameliorative effects of curcumin using stereological methods. Thirty balb/c mice were divided into six groups. The control group was received distilled water. The second and the third received higher doses of MTZ (500 mg/kg body weight/day) and MTZ (500 mg/kg/day) + 100 mg/kg/day curcumin, respectively. The fourth and the fifth were treated with lower doses of MTZ (165 mg/kg body weight/day) and MTZ (165 mg/kg body weight/day) + curcumin (100 mg/kg body weight/day), respectively. The sixth group received 100 mg/kg body weight/day curcumin. All the administrations were done by oral gavages for 14 days. After 30 days, seminal vesicles were removed. Stereological study of the seminal vesicle structure revealed a significant reduction in gland and vesicular fluid volume in MTZ-treated (higher or lower doses) animals. Curcumin protected the reduction of both parameters in therapeutic-dose treated animals. Metronidazole treatment does not induce structural changes in the seminal gland; however, it can have a significant impact on its secretion ability. Ketoconazole has been widely used as an antifungal drug that is formulated as tablets, cream and overthecounter ketoconazole shampoo. The aim of this research was to study and to standardize an ultraviolet spectrophotometric (UVS) method, potentiometric and a high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for the determination of ketoconazole in commercially available Oromycosal® tablets. These three methods were compared and discussed with respect to their sensitivity, selectivity and readyapplicability in routine analytical work. Absorption spectra and spectrophotometric determinations were carried out on the UVS spectrophotometer. Investigated concentrations were in range from 0.003 to 0.02mg?dm3. The absorbance was measured at 224 nm. In potentiometric titrations glass and saturated (KCl) calomel electrode were used. HPLC analyses of ketoconazole were carried in the presence of econazole as internal standard. It can be concluded that the described methods are simple, fast and reliable for determination of ketoconazole in pharmaceutical preparations. Colonic polyps and polyposis are studied in 183 patients. It has been found, that sensitivity of rectoscopy is 66.7%, irrigoscopy 61.1%, virtual colonoscopy computeraided tomography of colon (VCCATC) 79.1%. Endoscopic polypectomy was the main treatment method used in patents with colonic polyps and polyposis (18.6%).
