- Subject:
- analytical theory, luni-solar perturbations, and accuracy
- Language:

- Description:
- An analytical method od determination of luni-solat perturbations of the satellite motion is described here. The motion of perturbing body is described by trigonometrical series with the necessary accuracy. The determination of perturbations is made by numerous analytical transformations of the series by means of computer. As a result of these transformations the original accuracy is lost because of the limitation of the number of terms in series. The loss of accuracy is subjected to analysis by means of numerical tests and intotal accuracy of original series is estimated for fixed required accuracy of the calcualtion of satellite coordinates.

- Description:
- The work deals with design and implementation of an analogue electro-optic transmission system convenient to solve some specialized tasks in the field of diagnostics and measurements. The proposed system is designed to solve several requirements that are beyond the limits of conventional metallic transmission medium. Especially it is the case of broadband transmission, extreme length of the transmission medium and high galvanic barrier between input and output that have to be achieved simultaneously. and Práce popisuje vývoj a realizaci analogového elektro-optického přenosového systému použitelného v některých speciálních případech diagnostiky a měření. Navržený přenosový systém řeší několik vzájemně se limitujících požadavků, které není možné standardním metalickým propojením splnit. Jde zejména o současné dosažení velké šířky frekvenčního pásma, délky přenosového média a dostatečné galvanické bariéry mezi vstupem a výstupem.

- Subject:
- thin pipe, minimachine, smart bristle, and difference friction
- Language:

- Description:
- This paper describes experimental work done on a prototype of in-pipe bristled minimachine, which locomotes in pipe with inner diameter under 40 mm. The principle of minimachine locomotion is based on difference friction force between bristle tip and pipe wall. The new bristle design and its mathematical and graphical model will be presented. and Obsahuje seznam literatury

- Subject:
- hydrological drought, climatic conditions, river discharges, probability distribution, and Slovakia
- Language:
- Slovak
- Description:
- Several quite severe droughts occurred in Europe in the 21st century; three of them (2003, 2012 and 2015) hit also Slovakia. The Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) and Standardized Precipitation and Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) were used for assessment of meteorological drought occurrence. The research was established on discharge time series representing twelve river basins in Slovakia within the period 1981–2015. Sequent Peak Algorithm method based on fixed threshold, three parametric Weibull and generalized extreme values distribution GEV, factor and multiple regression analyses were employed to evaluate occurrence and parameters of hydrological drought in 2003, 2011–2012 and 2015, and the relationship among the water balance components. Results showed that drought parameters in evaluated river basins of Slovakia differed in respective years, most of the basins suffered more by 2003 and 2012 drought than by the 2015 one. Water balance components analysis for the entire period 1931–2016 showed that because of contin

- Language:

- Description:
- We consider a chaotic system with a double-scroll attractor proposed by Elwakil, composing with a second-order system, which has low-dimensional multiple invariant subspaces and multi-level on-off intermittency. This type of composite system always includes a skew-product structure and some invariant subspaces, which are associated with different levels of laminar phase. In order for the level of laminar phase be adjustable, we adopt a nonlinear function with saturation characteristic to tune the range of a certain state variable so that the number and position of the laminar phase level can be arbitrarily controlled. We find that there exist many interesting statistical characteristics in this complex system, such as the probability distribution of the laminar lengths with -3/2 exponent in the power law and random jumping of the system trajectories.

1860. Analysis of Ca2+ signaling mechanisms - our experience on the intercellular communication in muscle remodeling

- Language:

- Description:
- The aim of this study was to evaluate cell diversity by considering how Ca2+ signaling has been adapted in skeletal muscle cell function. We characterized single C2C12 myoblasts through intracellular Ca2+ signaling kinetics after exposure to specific drugs and calcium blockers using fast fluorescence microspectrofluorimetry followed by ATP effect analysis, which confirmed the expression of functional purinergic adenosine and P2 receptors. Further, we found that glutamate sensitivity of C2C12 cells was mediated by ionotropic glutamate receptors; on the other hand, most cells were responsive to cyclopiazonic acid, which inhibits the sarco-endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+-ATPase pump. These results suggest that C2C12 cells possess functional L- and P/Q-type voltage-operated Ca2+ channels, ryanodine receptors and functional sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ stores (typical for muscle cells), adenosine and P2 purinergic receptors, as well as ionotropic glutamate receptors. The evaluation of intracellular Ca2+ signaling is a promising approach towards a better understanding and control of the physiopathological properties of myogenic cells that could be used as a predictive factor in the selection of optimal cells for scaffold recellularization or for tissue engineered constructs used in stem cell therapy.
