Přehledové sdělení se věnuje diagnostickému zobrazení akutních aortálních syndromů s důrazem na multidetektorovou výpočetní tomografii a na její význam pro volbu léčby. Diskutovány jsou jednak techniky CT zobrazení včetně CT s EKG synchronizací a dále diagnostické nálezy u disekce aorty, intramurálního hematomu a penetrujícího vředu aorty.
