Naše výsledky přispívají novými daty k poznání sociální dynamiky tohoto turbulentního období a nastavují odlišný obraz než dosud publikované analýzy projektilů z Moravy, čímž dokládají zřejmě odlišnou roli lukostřelby v jednotlivých ekonomicko-politicko-sociálních strukturách tehdejších společností, které identifikujeme jako tzv. archeologické kultury. and The article offers comprehensive information on chipped stone industry found in graves of the cemetery at Hroznová Lhota – Přední čtvrtky od Žabince, South Moravia (Hodonín distr.). The Early Bronze Age burial ground has been explored from 2012 to 2015; it comprises inhumation graves with characteristic features of Nitra and Únětice cultures. Chipped stone industry can unequivocally be classified as one of the material displays of the Nitra culture. The collection of chipped stone industry found consists by 84 % of lithic projectile points – arrowheads. Morpho-typological and use-wear analyses were carried out and the operational sequence was partly reconstructed. Our results contribute with new data to the knowledge of social dynamics in this turbulent period and show a different picture than the hitherto published analyses of arrowheads from Moravia, whereby they probably attest that archery has played a different role in individual economic – political – social structures of the then societies, whom we identify as the so-called archaeological cultures.
Nové výzkumy a revize starších nálezů umožnily identifikovat bohaté pohřebiště únětické kultury starší doby bronzové v Klecanech (střední Čechy). Z kostry pochází 14C datum 3478 ± 31 BP (2σ 1888–1736 a 1712–1695 BC). and The Únětice culture cemetery in Klecany, Central Bohemia. New research and a re-analysis of older finds enabled a rich cemetery of the Únětice culture (Early Bronze Age) in Klecany (distr. Prague-East) to be identified. One of the newly examined graves contained a dagger blade and an axe with spoon-shaped blade. The axe surface bears use wear traces, which rules out its exclusive role as a symbolic artefact. Textile remains were preserved in the corroded surface layers. A 14C date of 3478 ± 31 BP (2σ 1888–1736 and 1712–1695 BC) was obtained from the skeleton.
Příspěvek se zabývá komplexní analýzou souboru štípané industrie z několikaletého záchranného výzkumu v poloze Podolí – Příčný, pocházejícího z hrobů i sídlištních objektů. Nezanedbatelnou roli v analýze štípané industrie z funerálního kontextu hraje i funkční a traseologická analýza provázaná s výsledky analýzy antropologického materiálu. Výsledky naznačují genderové rozdíly v používání kamenné štípané industrie resp. jejího ukládání do mužských a ženských hrobů. Profiluje se zde také relativně úzká část populace únětické kultury s intenzivnějším vztahem k tradici kamenné industrie a jejím potencionálně symbolickým morfotypům. and The article is dedicated to complex analysis of chipped stone industry assemblage collected during several years of rescue excavation in site Podolí – Příčný near Brno both from settlement features and graves. Podolí – Příčný assemblage represents until now the most voluminous collection of chipped stone industry of Únětice culture in Moravia from funeral context, and with detailed field documentation. Regarding the location of site close to raw material outcrop the information of used raw material, typological and technological characteristics mapping, and its comparison with other contemporary collections is important. Functional and use-wear analysis are interconnected with anthropological analysis data. Our results indicate possible gender and age differences in chipped stone industry using or depositing in graves. Some relatively small proportion of Únětice culture population with deeper relation to chipped stone industry tradition and its potentially symbolic morphotypes seems to appear.
Autoři diskutují hypotézu o spojení náramků s obdobím nedospělosti a s ním souvisejícími přechodovými rituály, případně ochrannou funkci těchto předmětů. and During an analysis of the Early Bronze Age burial site in Vliněves (central Bohemia, Mělník district), the variability of types of goods in graves of different sex and age was examined. Among other things, the study showed an almost exclusive representation of bar bracelets in the graves of juvenile individuals. An analysis of all available bar bracelet finds in Únětice culture graves in Bohemia suggested that this connection was not random. The authors discuss the hypothesis of the connection of the bracelets with the period of adolescence and related rites of passage, possibly the protective function of these artefacts.
