Eneolitické představovaly ceněnou komoditu, často dávanou do hrobů příslušníků elity. Oproti tomu dvě třetiny severských dýk z mladoúnětického období vykazují vazbu na říční a suchozemské komunikační směry a značná část jich je ze sídlišť charakteru centrálních míst či uzlových bodů. Dýky v této době zřejmě nebyly předmětem směny, ale jejím průvodním znakem. Je pravděpodobné, že zčásti patřily k výbavě lidí účastnících se provozu na dálkových komunikacích, spojujících alpskou rudnou oblast s únětickou kulturou a severským okruhem. and Finds of silicite daggers in Bohemia (52 specimens) come from two productions circuits – the southern, subalpine circuit, and the northern, Baltic circuit – and date to five horizons between the Middle Eneolithic and the Early Bronze Age. Some of the lance-shaped daggers from the context of Eneolithic cultures are of southern origin (Cham, Řivnáč, Corded Ware culture – from Bavarian tabular chert), while others are of northern origin (protoand early Únětice culture). Later types of Nordic daggers with handles date to the Early Bronze Age (late Únětice culture). A substantial difference is evident in the function of the daggers from the two periods. The Eneolithic daggers represented a valuable commodity that was often buried with members of the elite as a grave good. On the other hand, two-thirds of the Nordic daggers from the late Únětice period show a link to river and overland routes; a substantial number of these daggers are from settlements with the nature of a central location or junction points. In this period daggers were apparently not a subject of exchange but rather an attendant trait. It is probable that some of the daggers were part of the gear of people involved in the operation of travel over the long-distance routes connecting the ore territory in the Alps with Únětice culture and the Nordic circuit.
C) „Hrobové“ jámy bez kosterních pozůstatků a bez nálezů, ale s výraznou fosfátovou anomálií respektující svým tvarem i velikostí půdorys jámy. and Burial rites: uniform or diverse? Interpretation of the results of phosphate soil analysis at the Únětice culture burial site in Prague 9 – Miškovice. Phosphate soil analysis was successfully used as a supplement to archaeological and anthropological observations at the Early Bronze Age burial site in Prague 9 – Miškovice. In addition to „regular“ burials with complete preserved skeletons resting in an anatomical position, the soil analysis was used to document heretofore unknown forms of burial (approximately 45 % of all uncovered graves): A) The burial of separate bones (in some cases in caskets made from organic material) without soft tissue, often with gifts and characterized by complete or fragmentary skeletal remains spread out or arranged in the bottom of the grave pit, without a phosphate anomaly. B) So-called „cenotaph“ (empty) graves situated between other graves. The shapes of cenotaph graves do not differ from other graves, but do not contain any bones or other objects. The cenotaph graves do not have a phosphate anomaly, but one of them has a stone packing. C) „Grave“ pits with neither skeletal remains nor finds, but with a distinct phosphate anomaly respecting the shape and even the size of the grave.
Příspěvek se zabývá vícečetným pohřebním kontextem z Velkých Přílep (okr. Praha–západ), datovaným do starší doby bronzové. The work focuses on the context of a multiple burial of 6 individuals from Velké Přílepy (distr. Prague-west), dated to the Early Bronze Age. The study is based on the interdisciplinary cooperation between archaeology and biological anthropology, focusing on the theoretical issues linked to a past living culture (intentionality, rise and purpose of burial complex) and its transformation into archaeological record. The study of the transformation of formal (damage, decomposition and disintegration of bone tissue), positional (disarticulation of bone joints) and estimation of some anthropological parameters has already taken place during the fieldwork. Topics such as the intentionality of the rise of the burial complex, the reconstruction of the advancement of its formation and the purpose within the given cultural environment will be covered.
