This paper focuses on the roots of a functional theory of predication, which is represented primarly by Frege and Russell. After a brief presentation of the theory of Frege, I concentrate on the philosophical motivation of this theory. The example of the influence of F. H. Bradley on Russell’s conception of the categorical judgements shows a common epistemological position of both authors, which I recognize also in Frege. The point of the article is to find common grounds in Kant noetics, especially in his conception of synthetic judgement. Replacement of the problematic Kant’s notion of transcendental schema by the functional application subsequently allowed flourishing of the theory. In conclusion, I outline potential problems associated with the challenge of philosophical assumptions on which this theory is based., Příspěvek se zaměřuje na kořeny funkční teorie predikce, kterou reprezentují především Frege a Russell. Ever since Strawson’s The Bounds of Sense, the transcendental apperception device has become a theoretical reference point to shed light on the criterionless self-ascription form of mental states, reformulating a contemporary theoretical place tackled for the first time in explicit terms by Wittgenstein’s Blue Book. By investigating thoroughly some elements of the critical system the issue of the identification of the transcendental subject with reference to the I think will be singled out. In this respect, the debate presents at least two diametrically opposed attitudes: the first – exemplified in the works by Hacker, Becker, Sturma and McDowell – considers the features of the I think according to Wittgenstein’s approach to the I as subject while the second, exemplified by Kitcher and Carl, criticizes the various commentators who turn to Wittgenstein in order to interpret Kant’s I think. The hypothesis that I will attempt at articulating in this paper starts off not only from the transcendental apperception form, but also from the characterizations of empirical apperception. Onkologickí pacienti sú často liečení potenciálne kardiotoxickou liečbou. Ku kardiotoxickým komplikáciám patria menej závažné (relatívne benígne arytmie) až život ohrozujúce stavy (ischémia/infarkt myokardu, zlyhanie srdca, kardiomyopatia). Toxickým vplyvom chemoterapeutík môže dochádzať k porušeniu integrity sarkolémy, uvoľneniu bioaktívnych látok do tkanív a cirkulácie a v konečnom dôsledku k nekróze/apoptóze myocytov. Korelátom rozsahu a závažnosti poškodenia myokardu môžu byť hladiny kardiomarkerov v sére. V súvislosti s včasnou detekciou abnormalít myokardu sa v súčasnosti kardiologický výskum zameriava na hľadanie biochemických markerov s vysokou špecificitou, senzitivitou a prediktívnou hodnotou. Výpovedná hodnota štandardne stanovovaných kardiomarkerov (myoglobínu, CK-MB masy, CK-MB, sčasti aj CK) nie je dostatočná. Pribúdajú dôkazy o užitočnosti nátriuretických peptidov a kardiálnych troponínov v diagnostike a monitorovaní skorej a neskorej, klinickej a subklinickej kardiotoxicity v dôsledku protinádorovej liečby.
