Stárnutí populace má ekonomické, politické i sociální důsledky. Klíčovým tématem byla úroveň podpory zdraví na pracovišti a s ní související pozitivní a negativní faktory ovlivňující pracovní výkon., Population aging has economic, political and social consequences. Planning needs of long term care (LTC) and reflecting the number of professional caregivers responds to demographic changes. Although family caregivers dominate in many OECD countries including the Czech Republic, a number of professionals in these countries will double until 2050 (even triple in the Czech Republic). The need for the existence of quality institutions providing LTC setting is linked with good working conditions and health promotion of their employees. Prevention and health promotion of the aging population and of formal and informal caregivers are important topics in LTC policy. Within reflection of the current state of health promotion and working conditions of formal caregivers in the Czech environment, we conducted a qualitative probe (focus groups). The objective was to determine subjective opinions of this target group of employers’ efforts to promote their health by improving working conditions. The key theme included the level of workplace health promotion and related positive and negative factors affecting work performance., Blanka Jirkovská, Hana Janečková, and Literatura
Jediné výjimky – dva druhy tropických kaloňů – jsou i nadále sporné., There have been many descriptions of breastfeeding men and males of many mammalian species have the potential to produce milk. However, there are the formidable barriers to the male lactation and this has never evolved in mammalian species. The only exceptions – two species of tropical fruit bat – remain dubious., and Jaroslav Petr

Cílem této studie je upozornit na myšlenky, z nichž současná psychomotorická terapie čerpá., The term „psychomotor“ has its origin in Germany. Wilhelm Griesinger, one of the founders of neuropsychiatry, used this term for the first time in 1844. The term “psychomotor” led, however, an independent life. Over the years in different countries have developed different concepts in education and psychomotor as a therapeutic agent. The basis of both orientations s the same. Move to try to create a predefined change in perception and behaviour appropriate to predefined change can be induced by the knowledge of brain function. However, it is necessary to allow for different levels of motivation for this change and varying levels of previous experience. The aim of this study is to highlight the ideas of which draws current psychomotor therapy., Hátlová B., Adámková S., Bašný Z., and Literatura
Over recent years, specialist publications have been increasingly focusing on the spiritual dimension of man. This growing interest can be traced back to the 1980s, when the concept of spirituality expanded into psychology and health care. Although the term spirituality first appeared in 16th century theology, its usage in today’s sense of the word originates in the early 20th century. Spirituality must be distinguished from religiousness. Spirituality may find its specific expression in religiousness, but can also be manifested in other ways. A „natural“ spirituality is an essential part of everyday life, demonstrating itself in the ability to reflect both on oneself and the outside world, to get involved in relationships and apply values, as well as in searching for and finding the purpose of one’s life and the meaning of life in general. An illness may represent a period in life when a person more than ever before becomes aware of his / her spiritual dimension. It is important that caring for an ill person also includes spiritual care. This care, however, needs to be highly individualised so that it wouldn’t harm the patient. Neglecting this type of care or forcibly imposing it should both be considered a non lege artis practice., Bartůšková L., and Literatura
