The paper deals with an analytical description of a controlled system using a linear planar dynamic crane model. The model is described by a set of linear differential equations that represent some simplification. This model is especially practical for the control design. Two-way control is designed for the planar model using both the pole placement method (PPM) and PID control. Simulations in MATLAB and experiments with a crane model in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava were performed to verify the control methods used. Simulation results demonstrate the usability of control methods in real industrial practice. and Príspevok sa zaoberá analytickým opisom riadeného systému s použitím lineárneho rovinného dynamického modelu žeriava.
The present paper addresses the problem of the stabilization (in the sense of exponential stability in mean square) of partially linear composite stochastic systems by means of a stochastic observer. We propose sufficient conditions for the existence of a linear feedback law depending on an estimation given by a stochastic Luenberger observer which stabilizes the system at its equilibrium state. The novelty in our approach is that all the state variables but the output can be corrupted by noises whereas in the previous works at least one of the state variable should be unnoisy in order to design an observer.
Archeologové často diskutují o pohybu obyvatel na určitém území a spolu s antropology, archeozoology a archeobotaniky uvažují o spektru rostlin a zvířat sloužících k výživě lidí v dávné minulosti. V posledních desetiletích do těmto studií proniká nová technika, a to měření kvantitativních poměrů obsahu přirozených izotopů vybraných prvků (např. uhlík, kyslík, stroncium) obsažených v tkáních, kostech a zubech. and Archaeologists very often discuss movements of inhabitants in the particular area and together with anthropologists consider the range of plants and animals used for human feeding in the past. New techniques have been applied in the relevant studies, such as the quantitative estimation of natural isotope levels in particular elements (e.g. carbon, oxygen, strontium) found in tissues, bones and teeth.
Závěrečné pokračování příspěvku představuje řadu příkladů využití stabilních izotopů při studiu výživy a migrace lidí (např. délka kojení, konzumace kukuřice v Severní Americe, původ obyvatelstva v Bavorsku, migrace v Egyptě apod.). and The final part of this contribution presents some examples of using stable isotopes in studying food and migration patterns in human populations (e.g. length of the lactation period, maize consumption in North America, Bavarian population origin, migration in Egypt, etc.).
Výsledný rozdíl 43" za století je tak nejistý a nemusí odpovídat skutečnosti., The perihelion shift of Mercury's orbit is thought to be one of the fundamental tests of the validity of the general theory of relativity. In the current (astro)physical community, it is generally accepted that the additional relativistic perihelion shift of Mercury is the difference between its observed perihelion shift and the one predicted by Newtonian mechanics, and that this difference equals 43" per century. However, as it results from the subtraction of two quite inexact numbers of almost equal magnitude, it may be subject to cancelation errors. As such, the above accepted value is highly uncertain and may not correspond to reality., Michal Křížek., and Obsahuje seznam literatury
The notion of ‘undisturbed motion‘ in this paper expresses the natural elastic oscillations of a robot manipulation system (MS) insulated from external effects. The natural frequencies and the normal functions of a two-link robot with a manipulation system of ‘stiff units with variable geometry‘ are determined. The differential equations of the natural oscillations of systems are worked out and their common solution is determined. and Obsahuje seznam literatury
Catastrophic impact of floods is the result of an interaction between extreme hydrologic events and environmental, social and economic processes. Therefore, an integrated approach to flood management plays an important role in sustainable development. Such an approach requires a team comprising experts from the fields of hydrology and water resources, nature protection, risk management, human security, municipalities, economics and land use. The estimations of experts can serve for finding a solution to specific YES/NO problems and for estimating the value of specific attributes or parameters. In order to measure and evaluate the level of agreement between experts, a newly developed method for assessing the level of agreement and the value of τ-agreement, based on the Shannon theory of entropy, was applied. The use of such fuzzy-group-agreement decision making procedure, involving a broad range of stakeholders, is illustrated by the Flood Control Case Study, Zarosice, Czech Republic. In the case study of the Zdrava Voda catchment, where a part of the urbanised territory of the Zarosice village suffered from periodical flooding, a group of experts analysed the catchment data, focusing particularly on designed rainfall data. The KINFIL model was subsequently applied. and Katastrofální dopad povodní je výsledkem vzájemné interakce extrémních hydrologických událostí a environmentálních, sociálních a ekonomických procesů. Z tohoto důvodu je integrovaný přístup k řešení protipovodňové ochrany důležitou součástí trvale udržitelného rozvoje. Tento přístup vyžaduje tým odborníků z oborů hydrologie a vodního hospodářství, ochrany přírody, řízení rizik (risk managementu), bezpečnosti osob, samosprávy, ekonomiky a hospodářského využití půdy.
