Východiska: Vzhledem ke geriatrizaci ošetřovatelské péče se ageismus stává často diskutovaným tématem. Z tohoto důvodu je velmi důležité, aby nelékařští zdravotničtí pracovníci byli v tomto ohledu dostatečně vzděláváni, protože právě dostatečná informovanost a praktická zkušenost může ovlivnit míru inklinace k ageistickým postojům. Cíl: Cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zhodnotit ageistické postoje u studentů středních zdravotnických škol v závislosti na škole a ročníku, kterou respondenti navštěvovali a zjistit rozdíly ve vnímání seniorské populace. Metody: V souladu s cíli práce byl proveden kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření. Na základě bodového ohodnocení odpovědí v dotazníku byla zjištěna míra ageistických postojů u respondentů. Výsledky: Práce prokázala, že je statisticky významný vztah mezi ageistickými postoji u studentů a jejich příslušností ke střední škole. Stejně tak byl prokázán rozdíl mezi ageistickými postoji u studentů druhých a čtvrtých ročníků středních zdravotnických škol. Závěry: Z práce vyplývá, že ve sledovaném souboru se u většiny studentů objevuje střední inklinace k ageistickým postojům s ohledem na navštěvovanou školu. Dále pak, že k ageistickým postojům inklinují více studenti čtvrtých ročníků, kteří již absolvovali odbornou praxi u lůžka nemocného, než studenti druhých ročníků, kteří tuto praxi ještě neabsolvovali., Background: Due to geriatrization of nursing care becomes oen discussed theme. Because of this it’s very important that non-medical health staff will be enough educated. It is that sufficient awareness and practical experience that can affect the rate of inclination to ageist attitudes. Objective: e objective of this research was to evaluate ageist attitudes of nursing school students according to school which the respondents visited and find out the differences in perception of senior population among the students of second and fourth grade. Methods: Due to the aims of this work the quantitative research has been done through a questionnaire survey. e rate of ageist attitudes was observed based on scoring responses. Results: A statistically significant relationship between symptoms of ageist attitudes this work proved as well as the differences between symptoms of ageist attitudes among second and fourth grade students. Conclusions: e work shows that in the sample survey, the majority of students appearing middle inclination to the myths of old age. The target of research was the implementation of the comparative analysis of conservative therapy of preparation of basic therapy and also new methods of treatment (anticytokine therapy). Appointment of salofalk in twos tablets (0, 5) 34 times a day per os, and also 2,0 gr in the form of a rectal enema unitary for a period of seven days, then had transferd the patients to reception 2,0 gr salofalk per os, allowed to achieve substantial improvement patients cliniclaboratory and endoscopic symptoms with a heavy intensification of ulcer colitis variation, providing full cliniclabaratory remissions achievements of disease at 8 (34 %) patients. In the Minister of the Uzbek Public Health of the Republican Science Coloproctological Center at 10 patients with the IDI have spent the therapy remicade, 7 of them had NUC and 3 patients had the Crohn's disease. Therefore, all patients no longer than on the first week after introduction of remicade had improvement of a course disease which was expressed in defering stool, extinction or reduction of pathological impurity in excrement and subsidence bellyaches. During colonoscopical inspection, in 1218 weeks after the first infusion at 80% of the patients had observed disappearance of ulcers and erosion. In terms of 6 months of supervision of relapse of disease was not noted. All new directions in treatment of the IDI, apparently, are perspective, but while are proved only theoretically and had no practical development. Cieľ: Výskum bol zameraný na identifikáciu drţania diéty u adolescentných respondentov a niektorých príčin jej drţania vo vzťahu k pohlaviu a veku. Metodika: Na získanie empirických dát boli pouţité vybrané poloţky sebaposudzovacieho meracieho nástroja s názvom Mapovanie stravovacích návykov medzi adolescentmi (The Project EAT Survey, Neumark- Sztainer et al.). Výskumnú vzorku tvorilo 387 adolescentných respondentov, toho času študentov prvých a štvrtých ročníkov stredných škôl. Výsledky: Podľa výsledkov výskumu ţeny častejšie drţia diéty (redukčné alebo pre jej udrţanie) či uţ v minulom roku (p = 0,002) aj v terajšej dobe (p = 0,000). Sú nespokojné so svojou hmotnosťou (p = 0,000) a postavou (p = 0,009). Respondenti vo veku 18 - 20 rokov uviedli, ţe si ich členovia rodiny doberali alebo si robili posmech z ich hmotnosti (p = 0,000). Vyššie percento ţien zaţilo negatívne hodnotenie ich hmotnosti zo strany členov rodiny (27,5 %) a vrstovníkov (33,5 %). Záver: Sestra v klinickej praxi môţe byť nápomocná pri identifikovaní drţania diét u adolescentov a jej príčin z hľadiska prevencie dopadu drţania diét na telesné a duševné zdravie adolescenta a pri realizácii uţ cielených intervencií, napr. edukácie v rámci takto obsahovo zameranej prevencie., Aim: The research was aimed at identifying dieting among adolescent respondents and some of the reasons for its keeping in relation to sex and age. Methods: For obtaining empirical data selected items of self-assessing measuring tool called Mapping dietary habits among adolescents were used (The Project EAT Survey, Neumark-Sztainer et al.). The research sample consisted of 387 adolescent respondents, previously high school students (of the first and fourth study year). Results: According to results of research women more frequently keep a diet (in order to lose weight or keep it the same) in last year (p = 0,002) as well as at present-day period (p = 0,000). They are not satisfied with their weight (p = 0,000) and figure (p = 0,009). Respondents aged 18-20 years reported that their family members have teased or made fun of their weight (p = 0,000). A higher percentage of women had experience a negative evaluation of their weight on the part of the family members (27,5 %) and peers (33,5 %). Conclusion: A nurse in clinical practice can be helpful in identifying dieting among adolescents and its causes in order to prevent the impact of diets on physical and mental health of adolescent and in the implementation of already targeted interventions, e.g. education in the context of the following content targeting prevention., Michaela Miertová, and Literatura 40
ABSTRAKT Cieľ: Zámerom štúdie bolo identifikovať štatisticky významné rozdiely v úrovni emočnej inteligencii (EI) u študentov ošetrovateľstva vzhľadom k demografi ckým údajom (vek, dĺžka štúdia) a zároveň zistiť či úroveň EI študentov ošetrovateľstva ovplyvňuje ich záujem o problematiku geriatrického ošetrovateľstva. Metódy: Výskumu sa zúčastnilo 86 univerzitných študentov denného bakalárskeho štúdia odboru ošetrovateľstvo. Na meranie úrovne EI boli využité dotazníky reprezentujúce rôzne chápania EI. Prostredníctvom SIT-EMO (Situational Test of Emotional Understanding) bola zisťovaná EI ako schopnosť. EI ako črta bola zisťovaná dotazníkom SEIS(Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale). Dotazníkom vlastnej konštrukcie ESE-GP (Emotional self-effi cacygeriatric patient) bola zisťovaná úroveň EI študentov v procese starostlivosti o geriatrických pacientov. Výsledky: Nezistili sme štatisticky významné rozdiely v úrovni EI študentov z hľadiska demografi ckých údajov (vek a ročník štúdia). Medzi úrovňou EI (SEIS)a perspektívnym záujmom študentov venovať sa geriatrickému ošetrovateľstvu bola zistená štatisticky významná súvislosť (p < 0,05). Závery: Zistené výsledky môžu uplatniť najmä inštitúcie poskytujúce ošetrovateľské vzdelávanie, ktorým odporúčame zamerať pozornosť na rozvoj EI v procese vzdelávania študentov ošetrovateľstva., Aim: The aim of the study was to identify statistically significant differences in levels of emotional intelligence (EI) of nursing students in relation with demographic data (age and year of study) and also determine whether the EI level of nursing students affects their interest in the issue of geriatric nursing. Methods: The sample consisted of 86 full-time undergraduate university students of nursing. To measure the level of EI, questionnaires representing diff erent understanding of EI were used. EI as an ability was determined by the SIT-EMO (Situational Test of Emotional Understanding). EI as a trait was evaluated by the questionnaire SEIS (Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale). The questionnaire of own construction ESE-GP (Emotional self-effi cacygeriatric patient) assessed the level of EI of students in the process of caring for geriatric patients. Results: There were no statistically signifi cant diff erences in the students’ level of EI in terms of demographic data (age and year of study). A statistically signifi cant association (p < 0.05) was found between the students’ level of EI (SEIS) and their promising interest to pursue geriatric nursing. Cíl: Hlavním cílem výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit, které faktory ovlivňují pouţívání ošetřovatelských diagnóz v klinické praxi. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit rozdíly v hodnocení faktorů ovlivňujících pouţívání ošetřovatelských diagnóz v praxi podle věku, vzdělání a typu pracoviště. Metodika: Pro získání dat byl sestaven nestandardizovaný dotazník zaměřený na zjištění faktorů ovlivňujících pouţívání ošetřovatelských diagnóz. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 253 registrovaných všeobecných sester z 9 zdravotnických zařízení v České republice. Sestry hodnotili na Likertově škále od 1 do 5, jak jednotlivé faktory ovlivňují pouţívání ošetřovatelské diagnostiky v praxi. Výzkumné šetření probíhalo od června 2011 do listopadu 2011. Výsledky: Podle našeho výzkumného souboru nejvíce ovlivňují pouţívání ošetřovatelských diagnóz v praxi následující faktory: počet pacientů na 1 sestru, administrativní zátěţ, syndrom vyhoření, nedostatek času, rozdíly v teorii a praxi a nedostatek personálu. Statisticky významné rozdíly v hodnocení faktorů podle věku byly zjištěny v hodnocení 2 faktorů: rozdíly v teorii a praxi, nedostatek motivace. Podle dosaţeného vzdělání byly statisticky významné rozdíly zjištěny v hodnocení 4 faktorů: nejednotnost ošetřovatelských diagnóz, terminologie diagnóz, rozdíly v teorii a praxi, rutinní práce. V závislosti na typu pracoviště byly statisticky významné rozdíly nalezeny v hodnocení 5 faktorů: terminologie diagnóz, rozdíly v teorii a praxi, nedostatek praktických zkušeností s ošetřovatelskou diagnostikou, rutinní práce, syndrom vyhoření. Závěr: Rozeznání faktorů ovlivňujících pouţívání ošetřovatelských diagnóz v praxi a zlepšení institucionální podpory můţe ulehčit implementaci ošetřovatelské diagnostiky v klinické praxi, Aim: The main aim of the study was to identify which factors influenced the use of nursing diagnoses in clinical practice. Another aim was to ascertain whether age, education and type of workplace affected the relative importance accorded to these factors. Methods: A non-standardized questionnaire on factors influencing the use of nursing diagnoses was administered to a sample consisting of 243 registered general nurses from 9 healthcare facilities in the Czech Republic. Using Likert´s 5-point scale, the nurses rated the importance of several factors in influencing their use of nursing diagnoses in practice. The research was conducted between June 2011 and November 2011. Results: Based on our sample, there are several factors which influence the use of nursing diagnoses in practice. Some of them are: number of patients per nurse, administrative strain, burnout syndrome, lack of time, discrepancies between theory and practice, lack of staff. Statistically significant age-related differences in rating factors were found for the following: discrepancies between theory and practice, lack of motivation. Statistically significant differences in ratings relative to education were found for four factors: disunity of nursing diagnoses, diagnostic terminology, discrepancies between theory and practice, workplace routine. Based on type of workplace, statistically significant differences in ratings were found for five factors: diagnostic terminology, discrepancies between theory and practice, lack of practical experience in nursing diagnostics, workplace routine, burnout syndrome. Cíl: Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit důležitost spirituálních potřeb pacientů v paliativní péči a jejich saturaci na onkologické klinice FN Ostrava. Metodika: Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 93 pacientů, u nichž byla ukončena onkologická léčba s kurativním záměrem a vzhledem k negativní prognóze nemoci jim byla poskytována paliativní péče na onkologické klinice FN Ostrava. Do souboru byli zařazeni pacienti s Karnofského skóre KI ≤ 60 %. Ke sběru dat byly použity otázky z domény spirituální potřeby dotazníku pro měření potřeb PNAP (Patient Needs Assessment in Palliative care) a dotazník EORTC QoLC-30. Pro hodnocení rozdílu v důležitosti a saturaci potřeb dle jednotlivých faktorů byl použit párový t-test a t-test pro dva výběry. Výsledky: V oblasti spirituálních potřeb považovali respondenti nejčastěji za důležité „nenáboženské“ duchovní potřeby a to „být naplněn klidem“ (95 %), „mít smysl života“ (92 %) a „mít pozitivní náhled na život a naději“ (91 %). Pacienti byli nejčastěji nespokojeni s nemožností účasti na bohoslužbě (44 %, 56 % u druhého měření). Spirituální potřeby považovali signifikantně častěji za důležité pacienti starší 65 let a pacienti bez náboženského vyznání (p<0,05). V hodnocení saturace duchovních potřeb nebyl zjištěn statisticky významný rozdíl. Závěr: Identifikace pro pacienta důležitých spirituálních potřeb by se měla stát součástí ošetřovatelské péče., Aim: The aim of the research was to find the importance of the patient´s spiritual needs in the palliative care and their saturation at the Clinic of Oncology at University hospital Ostrava. Methods: The research file consisted of 93 patients whose oncological treatment with curative intention was finished and according to the negative prognosis of illness the palliative care was given to these patients at the Clinic of oncology at University hospital Ostrava. Patients registered in this file were registered the Karnofsky score KI ≤ 60 %. The questions from domain of spiritual needs assessment for measurement of needs PNAP - Patient Needs Assessment in Palliative care were used for the data collection. To evaluate the differences in the importance and saturation according to the needs of individual factors used paired t-test and t-test for two samples. Results: In relation to spiritual needs the respondents found as most important the „no-religion“ spiritual needs and the fact „to be peaceful“ (95%), „to have the meaning of life“ (92%) and to have the positive view of life and hope (91%) most often. The patients were dissatisfied with impossibility of their presence at church service (44%, 56% in case of second measurement) most often. The patients older than 65 years and the non-religious patients (p<0.05) found the spiritual needs as important more often. Statistically the significant difference was not known in the evaluation of the spiritual needs saturation. Cieľ: Cieľom práce bolo validizovať defi nujúce charakteristiky ošetrovateľskej diagnózy Defi cit vedomostí vybraným súborom slovenských sestier – expertov, teda zistiť, ktoré defi nujúce charakteristiky sú sestrami považované za hlavné a ktoré za vedľajšie. Metódy: Na hodnotenie defi nujúcich charakteristík ošetrovateľskej diagnózy Defi cit vedomostí bol zvolený Fehringov model validity diagnostického obsahu. Výsledky: Za hlavné defi nujúce charakteristiky boli označené: „slovné vyjadrenie problému“ a „chybné, nepresné dodržiavanie inštrukcií“. Za vedľajšie defi nujúce charakteristiky boli označené: „chybné, nepresné výsledky testu“ a „neprimerané správanie“. Charakteristika „prehnané správanie“ dosiahla vážené skóre menej ako 0,5. Záver: Nie všetky defi nujúce charakteristiky ošetrovateľskej diagnózy Defi cit vedomostí uvedené v klasifi kačnom systéme NANDA-International sú pre vybraný súbor sestier rovnako významné pre jej stanovenie., Aim: The aim of the study was to validate the nursing diagnosis Deficient Knowledge by a chosen sample of Slovak nurses – experts, i. e. to find out which defining characteristics are considered major and minor. Methods: The Fehring’s Diagnostic Content Validity Model was used to evaluate the defi ning characteristics of nursing diagnosis Deficient Knowledge. Results: Th e following defi ning characteristics were marked as major: “verbalization of the problem”, “inaccurate compliance with instructions”. The following characteristics were marked as minor: “poor and inaccurate performance in a test” and “inappropriate behaviour”. The defining characteristic “exaggerated behaviour” had the weighted ratio less than 0.5. The aim of the study was to establish the frequency of hypovitaminosis D in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D), its influence on biochemical and densitometric parameters and the relation to diabetic nephropathy. 58 children with T1D at the age 9–19 years were enrolled to the study. Vitamin D concentration less than 30 ng/ml was considered as insufficient. 37 children (63.79%) had vitamin D level under 30 ng/ml, from these 19 subjects (32.7%) had vitamin D level under 20 ng/ml and 2 subjects (3.44%) under 10 ng/ml. Children with vitamin D deficiency had significantly lower magnesium concentration and lower Z score of lumbar spine (−1.34 ± 1.24 vs. −0.30 ± 1.21, p = 0.01) compared to diabetics with sufficient vitamin D concentration. No significant difference was found in parameters calcium, phosphorus or glycosylated hemoglobin. Patients with diabetic nephropathy (n = 18) showed no significant difference in vitamin D, glycosylated hemoglobin or Z score of lumbar spine compared to the patients without nephropathy (n = 40). Subjects with nephropathy had significantly longer diabetes duration, significantly higher cholesterol and triacylglycerol concentration. Cíl: Cílem šetření bylo zjistit, jak studenti ošetřovatelství hodnotí svoji klinickou praxi, spolupráci s mentorem, jaké aspekty ovlivňují jejich spokojenost s praxí a jak se hodnocení praxe liší na jednotlivých odděleních. Metodika: Výzkumný soubor zahrnoval 59 studentů druhého a třetího ročníku oboru všeobecná sestra. Dotazníkové šetření bylo realizováno standardizovaným nástrojem pro hodnocení klinické výukové prostředí a supervize CLES (Saarikoski, 2002) po absolvované klinické praxi studentů (2008). Výsledky: Byly potvrzeny rozdíly v hodnocení supervize a klinického výukového prostředí vzhledem k typu oddělení, kdy interní oddělení byla studenty hodnocena kladněji. Studenti hodnotili nejvyššími známkami dimenzi ošetřovatelská péče na oddělení, nejhůře pak vztah mezi mentorem a studentem. Současně byly potvrzeny pozitivní korelace mezi celkovou spokojeností studentů a jejich hodnocením. Statisticky významné vztahy byly identifikovány mezi zátěží sester na oddělení a hodnocením studentů – s vyšší fyzickou zátěží sester byla supervize a klinické výukové pracoviště hodnoceno kladněji. Závěr: Výsledky šetření ukazují na význam supervize a kvalitního klinického výukového prostředí pro ošetřovatelské praxe. Praktická výuka tvoří významnou část vzdělávacího programu sester, a proto je nezbytné sledovat zkušenosti a reflexe studentů., Objective: The aim of this study was to find out how nursing students evaluate their clinical practice, co-operation with the mentor, what aspects affects their satisfaction with the practice and how the evaluation of practice varies from wards. Methods: The sample comprised of 59 nursing students of the second and third year of study. The survey was realized by standardized Clinical Learning Environment and Supervision instrument CLES (Saarikoski, 2002) after the completion of students clinical practice (2008). Results: Differences were confirmed in the evaluation of the supervision and clinical learning environment depending on the type of wards, when the internal wards were evaluated by students more favourably. Students rated the dimension of nursing care at the word the highest marks, the lowest was rated the relationship between mentors and students. At the same time were confirmed positive correlations between students’ overall satisfaction and their evaluation. Statistically significant relationship were identified between the nurses´ workload in the wards and students´ assessment – with the higher workload of nurses was the supervision and clinical learning environment evaluated more favourably. Conclusion: The results of survey show the importance of clinical supervision and quality of clinical learning environment for nursing practice. The article presents results of a study of the relationship 'locus of control health and subjective wellbeing. In a heterogeneous sample (N = 239) in the stage of youth (1930 years) shall be established: locus of control determines 11.56% of the changes in the assessment of health, changes in health contribute to 12.82% of the variation in assessment of happiness and 6.10% in the measurement of life satisfaction. Young people with an internal locus of control are healthier, happier and more satisfied with their lives than those with an external locus of control. In a study of cause effect relationship is established that internal locus of control determines a healthier lifestyle. Inadequate health care, more severe risk factors (stress, unhealthy diet, inadequate sleep, smoking) among young people with an external locus of control, outline prospects for greater vulnerability of this group of the population of the so called "Diseases of modern society." Most preferred activities of young people beneficial to their health are: walking, relaxation, hobbies and sports, and this is the way to state "flow" (activity of happiness) and highlights the positive experiences in health., Svetlana Popova, and Literatura
